WOW! Interesting. How do they get his DNA?

:twocents: DNA is contained in all nucleated cells of the body (skin, white blood cells, brain tissue, etc). Any and all biological materials collected during a post mortem examination can be utilized for further study. Some of that material is "fixed" and prepared for analysis under a microscope while other material is utilized in other testing formats (chemical, "mapping" (like this DNA study), etc.)

:rocker: PS: ALL of the above testing modalities take T I M E (and skill, of course!:great:)

WORLD EXCLUSIVE: INSIDE THE SICK TWISTED LIFE OF ADAM LANZA

Published on: December 26, 2012 (2 min. ago)

by NATIONAL ENQUIRER staff

I’M THE DEVIL!” With those chilling words, ADAM LANZA set the stage for his brutal slaughter of 26 innocents in a Connecticut school.

Haunted by voices ordering him to kill and convinced the world was coming to an end, the 20-year-old devil worshipper and violent video game fanatic left macabre clues to his murderous plan on Internet chat rooms, websites and a chilling diary he kept on his computer, authorities say.

AS a reeling nation mourned, investigators are frantically trying to determine whether anyone else was aware of Lanza’s homicidal plan and if an imagined accomplice could be real, sources say.

Meanwhile, The ENQUIRER has gone behind the scenes, conducting extensive interviews with sources close to the investigation, Lanza’s former classmates and other insiders, to learn the real reason why he snapped on Dec. 14 at Sandy Hook Elementary School in the sleepy community of Newtown...

That article contradicts itself. In the beginning it makes it sound like AL shouted that he was the devil during the shooting, however it quotes one of their "sources" as saying that he might have yelled that.

From the article:

"“Lanza wanted those poor in*nocent children to suffer simply because they attended the same school that he did,” explained the DOJ source.

“He must have heard voices telling him that they needed to die or else they’d grow up to be just like the kids he couldn’t get along with at school. In his warped mind this was the answer.

“Adam believed he was the personification of evil, and he must have said, ‘I’m the Devil!’ as he fired his gun.”"

So LE is able to give his DNA to organizations like that? I don't have a problem with it, but his family might feel differently.

:floorlaugh: Good ole National Enquirer, a solid source of facts. Not.

callyn, the accuracy of the investigative reporting by the MS Media in the CT School Shooting up to this point has me saying, "Will the real 'National Enquirer', please stand up"..
:banghead:

Well .. gotto take it all with a grain of salt ..... all the Media.

lol. We are now using National Inquirer as a MSM source? Of course, I guess they can't do much worse than some of the more "legitimate" media outlets have done with reporting factually on this case. :eyeroll:

ABSOLUTELY NO!
Law ENFORCEMENT is NOT "in control" of any biological material recovered, per se from the performance of a post mortem examination in the State of Connecticut.! The Medical Examiner's office is a distinct and completely separate agency from ANY other law enforcement division.

There are specific times and reasons WHEN post mortem examinations WILL be conducted by the OME, those conditions are NOT optional and complete resolution of the case by scientific examination as need is sometimes referred to outside agencies.

It's very possible Lanza's early childhood disability--Aspergers, or others-- could've easily morphed into a Schizophrenia type of illness since he was 20 at the time of the shooting

Our brother's Schizophrenia diagnosis at 19-20 when he was a freshman at Miami Univ, OH was on par with the experts telling us it develops in men in their late teens to early 20s.

"Schizophrenia typically shows up in young adults. For men it tends to emerge around 20 to 28 years and peak onset for women is between 26 to 32 years. But what triggers the disease during this time? "

Here's a small sample of Schizophrenia symptoms that pretty easily matched Lanza's odd behaviors:

Negative symptoms
Negative symptoms refer to a diminishment or absence of characteristics of normal function. They may appear with or without positive symptoms. They include:

Loss of interest in everyday activities
Appearing to lack emotion
Reduced ability to plan or carry out activities
Neglect of personal hygiene
Social withdrawal
Loss of motivation

I agree with everything written here except that Asperger's "could've easily morphed" into schizophrenia. Asperger's is a developmental disorder whereas schizophrenia is a psychiatric disorder. They have different etiology and causes. I don't think one easily morphs into the other. Would be interesting to get statistics on what the frequency of Aspergers being linked to schizophrenia is.

Sadly, this is true in this case, MSM has been woefully inaccurate.

yep the good ol' rag, The Enquirer..while I'm sure not all accurate I know they time and time again are proven to break stories that end up being valid..

IMO for the most part at this point in time I honestly find it rather equal to most other MSM..taken with the weight of a grain of salt, but when sifted through often times does have factual info..its just deciphering the BS from the kernals of truth..

I am curious to see if the user name leads anywhere..

all jmo.

Just bouncing off your post Donjeta... I wonder if he had been going out alone more leading up to the shooting to try to get guns, clothing, perhaps a decoy hard drive or whatnot. Sad to think that Nancy could have seen this as improvement.

Yes, I too wonder when and how he bought army fatigue and body armor for the massive shooting. Did he have access to his mom's credit cards? Did he order these items online? There should be receipts in company databases for those items, and we can use that to determine the approximate time he might have started logistically planning for the shooting.

to quote one person click the Quote button beneath posting window. To quote several persons use the multi quote button located directly to the right of the Quote button you select to quote one person.

when you click the multi quote button, you can multi quote as many posts as you would like, when you are ready to make your post simply hit the normal quote button as your last quote and when your posting window comes up it will list all those you indicated you wanted to quote, ending with the last one, which you selected by using the normal single quote button.

In other words, the single quote button is used to indicate "I am done selecting multiple quotes I want to respond to, this was the last one, and now I want the posting box to pop up."

Chances of someone with Asperger's developing schizophrenia are only marginally higher than that of general population.
And so far, we haven't heard anyone claiming Adam Lanza heard voices or experienced hallucinations.

When you hardly leave your basement and never speak to people who could claim what he was or wasn't hearing?

I really do not think their basement was like a dungeon, I am sure it was rather nice from looking at their home and knowing their yearly money.

Well .. gotto take it all with a grain of salt ..... all the Media.

National Enquirer' did mentioned though sites or chatrooms where the shooter bragged about his plan .. 2 days before the shootingr..

I saw that screenhot of him saying on the 12th: "I am going to kill myself on Friday .. It's going to be big etc.."

Someone else asked him: "Where are you?"

To which he replied: "In Connecticut .. and that is all i am going to say"

That was already debunked by LE. so much for the Enquirer. I love how the DOJ will give the Enquirer info but not traditional media.

To all: don;t run with this issue- it was put on the no-go list quite awhile ago.
