Conrad Murray Trial - Closing Arguments 11-3-11

CM sought payment for services rendered, not for the sake of doing no harm....

*I can't type very fast, sorry.

I've been meaning to say this for some time: MJ's kids don't have a mother, because of Michael Jackson. (Reminded by Walgren saying they don't have a father). I think that was really reprehensible. Of course, this has nothing to do with Murray's culpability, I just have always thought this was incredibly selfish of MJ, especially given what happened.

I cannot put the mom scenario all on MJ. There was no stopping Debbie Rowe from seeking court intervention for visitation and she would have won no matter what private agreement they had if she chose to do so. Her parental rights were re-established years before his death too

Mr. Walgren sounds a bit nervous. He seems to be calming down as he speaks though. Can't say as I blame him for being nervous, just rooting for him to hit his stride.

Precisely why she was chosen. I don't mean to get the board off topic with this, I was just sharing a thought. Maybe we can discuss this during deliberations.

I don't agree. Lot of single parents raise their children on their own without the other parent being in the children's lives. DR did not want to be involved that much in the children's lives.

MJ cared for these children everyday of his life since they were born. They deserved to have the one that was most important to them... there with them.

Michael was looking forward to the future. A home for his children. Wanted his children to see him being an entertainer.

I love the way he is making it all about Michael who had plans and hopes for the future.

Michael who loved his children and was a great father.

imo

Chernoff needs to stop with the facial expressions when he is facing the jury!

Consider that their mother agreed to whatever terms were laid out for them.

I bet this really has the Jackson family very emotional right now.

Sorry OT but
I know why DR stay's out of the picture but have always wondered about Blanket's mom??? Why has she not stepped forward Hmmm curious

This trial must be so hard for them. It is hard enough to grieve, but to have to sit through a defense team trash his memory would be too much to bear.

No one even knows who his mother is (well except for her, that is). She was a surrogate mother.

Is there some strategy here for the entire defense table to be looking everywhere but at the prosecutor or the jury? Seems odd to me that no one at the defense table would be looking at the jury.

Debbie never wanted to be a parent to these children. Michael wanted them and loved them more than anything else in this world.

IMO

I am glad Walgren got the "intent to kill" theme out of the way. He is going over the law and the charges.

I have had at least 14 anaesthetics and am still here. Please try not to worry (I know it's hard) I am sure you will be fine
(((((hugs)))))

Walgren is systematically going through every section of the law and applying it by specifics in the trial showing exactly on each part where CM is guilty. He's doing a really good job. IMO
