If the defense did this on purpose, re: media, can the jury become sequestered? Or will this be used for appeal, w/ the defense stating they should have been sequestered?

Wasn't there a gag order in the Anthony case, and didn't the defense lawyers violate it all the time. Baden, and that other blonde girl I know were on t.v. talking about the case a great deal. jmo

A partner in the firm with one of the defense attorneys went on the Today Show this morning. He was billed as being part of the defense team and talked about the case. The judge is furious.

Is that why the dark haired defense lawyer was rubbing his face and eyes this morning and then had the courts ok to leave the room for phone calls?

From what they are saying on HLN right now, there as not been a gag order in place before now. The judge did say at one point that he didn't want any comments made to media but that was short of issuing a gag order (per HLN).

However, they are saying now that the attorney in question has been ordered to appear in front of the judge this afternoon so there is some court order that the judge referenced when calling this attorney to appear before him. We'll have to wait and see what happens I suppose. It won't be long. LOL they are now wondering if there is some court order in place that they are not aware of. Whatever it is, it must not be as severe as what was issued today.

I thought maybe something happen with the jury talking first and the trial might end in a sudden fashion.

No, it's not over for the day. It is supposed to resume at 1:30pm pacific time but the judge has called in Matthew Alford to appear before him at 1:30 so we won't see the trial resume until after he deals with that matter. The court rules for televising this trial are that the camera and audio can not be going unless the jury is present (per what Vinnie Politan just said on HLN).

I missed that and don't have an answer but I bet defense is trying to explain why Murray was using only one hand to do CPR.

I did hear the emt say that MJ's ribs could be seen he was so thin. He also said it is common when having done cpr to see evidense of broken ribs. I am sure that his why murray was using one hand and was doing it on the bed. I have heard docs say this before.
