remanded into custody, no bail, well I guess the Judge is signalling that CM will not be getting off lightly as most thought,

Way To Go ! - Judge Pastor!

You are so awesome!

Perfect on what the Judge Ordered For The Doctor!!!

He will be out the back door if they do, a la Lindsey Lohan. Sentencing to be in a few weeks. Were I the judge, I'd put him in jail for his own protection until then. But, I ain't the judge, and everything is weird in California (to me).
I agree...I'm more interested in his safety.

I really was not expecting to see Murray leave the courtroom in handcuffs.

I wonder if Dr. White is watching this? What oh what will happen to the good Dr. White.

Didn't see any other verdict, (for many reasons) but while Murry was MJ last Doctor he is hardly the most culpable.

Everyone around MJ except those 3 children are just as guilty as Murry- it was painfully obvious the Jackson was in trouble but no one stepped in to save him from himself.

Don't see Murry practicing medicine again. Ironically the man who let greed leaf his way is more than likely worse off financially now than he was before he went to work for Jackson- maybe that is the real Justice here.

Judge is worried CM would flee the country. Hence go to jail, no bond.

Wow, the talking heads on msnbc are furious. They're mad at the crowd for cheering at the verdict and they're calling the whole thing a circus and acting like Murray was only prosecuted because people want to watch a "blood sport." Only one guy has pointed out that a unanimous jury decided that Murray caused Michael Jackson's death. Odd. It's like they don't even consider that getting justice for a wrong is a good thing.

Well, they are crazy. I like MSNBC but these talking heads are flat wrong. Too many "professionals" and other hangers on aid in the destruction of a life because they only care about money. This should have happened to Ann Nicole Smith's "lawyer" and many others as well. Yes, the drug addict has responsibility but when they are very famous and shielded from reality by wealth and the greed of those surrounding them, they are all the more vulnerable. I'm glad this guy was found guilty. We need more of that in these cases. Maybe Lohan's parents can be next.

Jackson doctor convicted in star's 2009 drug death

By LINDA DEUTSCH, AP

LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson's doctor was convicted Monday of involuntary manslaughter after a trial that painted him as a reckless caregiver who administered a lethal dose of a powerful anesthetic that killed the pop star.

The verdict against Dr. Conrad Murray marked the latest chapter in one of pop culture's most shocking tragedies — the death of the King of Pop on the eve of the singer's heavily promoted comeback concerts.

The jury deliberated less than nine hours. The Houston cardiologist, 58, faces a sentence of up to four years in prison. He could also lose his medical license...

WTH is that stoopid woman doing there with that little baby in a crush of people. Please know that not all Southern Californians represent that crowd!!

Will David (notice we're on 1st name basis now) do a presser?

I wouldn't be surprised since he made a point to ask Judge Pastor if the gag order was lifted.

Hopefully he will stay locked up for 4 years but I doubt it with good behavior and overcrowding.
