GUILTY Conrad Murray Trial - Verdict Watch

Ok...JC did her "I knew it was guilty" routine...the way no one looked at CM. When did I hear that before?! I guess the odds are 50/50, Jean.

According to HLN, Condrad's mother was given his clothes.

Those $185 ties can't be sitting all balled up in a prison locker somewhere! :innocent:

DA giving press conference now.

ABC Live 7 Live stream is playing over and over the clip of convicted felon CM being handcuffed.

Such a good feeling each time I see that smug-faced, arrogant doctor get what he deserves!!

There is a presser right now with the prosecutors.... David Walgren & Deborah Brazil..

He will be out the back door if they do, a la Lindsey Lohan. Sentencing to be in a few weeks. Were I the judge, I'd put him in jail for his own protection until then. But, I ain't the judge, and everything is weird in California (to me).

I assumed this would be the case as well, but Beth Karas just reported that the State of Calif must find a bed in the jail system for CM until his Nov 22 (?) sentencing,,,,,,,unlike Lindsey Lohan's ludicrous revolving door.

This is good news.

Is anyone else feeling over emotional? I wasn't expecting to feel like this. I can't imagine what it must be like for all those involved.

Linda Deutsch is the grande dame of crime reporters, now that Dominick Dunne has left us. Oh, how he would have loved to have covered this trial!

I so agree with you but I have been following her reporting for for the past 7 years. If most had read her during the MJ molestation trial; they would have understood why the jury found him NG. She was the only one that reported both sides of the case.

Did I hear Beth Karas say she is waiting on jury interview to begin shortly??? DH was talking to me while she was talking so I didn't hear what all she said.

Not that it's my business,,,,,,,,,but you should really train your DH better.

NO TALKING during Verdict Announcement.

Period.

:great:

Actually I am not. Just feeling relieved. I was a nervous wreck prior to the verdict being read though.

:banghead:Oh for Pete's sake. HLN breaks away from the DA press conference so they can show LaToya leaving the court room.

I really don't like JVM. This was not a sporting event. No winners here. Michael is still lost to the world...and more importantly...to his dear family.

Murray medical license automatically terminated.

Murray didn't do a lot of things, first call 911 right away, didn't tell the paramedics or the emergency room doctors about the propofol, he lied about sending the drugs to his girlfriends house, he didn't lock up the drugs. MJ was not a drug addict he suffered from a lot of pain. He had Demerol administrated during surgery to his face. If he was a drug addict he would have had a lot of pain medicine prescribed to him. He died of propofol and propofol only.

It doesn't matter if he was addicted or not, Murray still should have never given him the propofol, it's a general anesthetic... not a sleep aid. Plus all the other drugs he was giving him, didn't he get a clue that he was overdosing him?? I mean geez, within hours he had been given a whole drug store full of crap!!

Is it just me....
When Jane Velez Mitchell is "screaming non-stop" and chasing down people, while sticking a microphone in their face; does anyone else feel like they're watching a "female-type Geraldo Rivera?"

Wow, the talking heads on msnbc are furious. They're mad at the crowd for cheering at the verdict and they're calling the whole thing a circus and acting like Murray was only prosecuted because people want to watch a "blood sport." Only one guy has pointed out that a unanimous jury decided that Murray caused Michael Jackson's death. Odd. It's like they don't even consider that getting justice for a wrong is a good thing.

Well, alrighty then. Another reason to continue my 3-year boycott of MSNBC.
Thanks.

YES! i was like DAMN! They must be mj fans! :floorlaugh: The judge had to tell them to hold off a sec.

They just have a "no foolin' around" attitude. And they also want to protect the convict as well. There are lots of nuts everywhere, and things can happen.

Did he pack a toothbrush??!!
