Tell us, Mel - IMWTK!! What's next??

I'm not sure how they're gonna get CM outta jail, but this is what Chernoff told reporters he was working on:

[Updated at 5:01 p.m. ET] Defense attorney Ed Chernoff told CNN he and his team have not yet decided whether they will appeal the jury's verdict.

Chernoff said right now the team is preparing for sentencing, noting their job right not was to make sure that Conrad Murray will not occupy a jail bed.

Chernoff added that he was not shocked by the verdict.

This is from CNN Just In site (so take it with a grain of salt):

It would not have been "we the jury"... if they found him not guilty?

Yes, but the way she stressed "we" I knew he was going to be guilty.

It was like she wanted to stress that this jury didn't believe all the DT bullcrap.

Just my feeling. lol And she seemed very emotional when reading it.

IMO

I am going to miss Walgren ;)

Who??

Of course, just kidding!! What a classy attorney -- he does bring that kind of "lawyering" up to a professional and admirable level. Sets the bar higher for others.

Yep, he's one of the good ones. And he dresses up nice, to boot. Purty, purty, purty. And that fire and passion in his eyes is so genuine. <drool>

I'll bet he's got a smile on his face right now as big as his state of California.

Will Murray be able to get any Propofol to sleep better in the clink?

Underlined By Me

Where do they expect him to sleep? Where does Chernoff think CCM was taken after being hand-cuffed? The Ritz Carrolton???

I'm, hearing that Conrad will be held in a special holding cell. I'm sure a lot of prisoners would love the bragging rights of killing the guy found guilty of killing Michael Jackson.

There are a lot of doctors out there who play fast and loose with people's lives...I've witnessed terrible mistakes by a few different doctors, mistakes that killed my mother, my brother, and my unborn child. Sure wish I could have seen each one of those doctors convicted and led away in handcuffs.
Let doctors everywhere take notice.
Peace to Michael's family.

Oh my -- I am sincerely sorry to read this. :( :rose:

I was seeing a patient and she had the station on when the verdict was read. When I got home, I had the pleasure of seeing the deputy place the handcuffs on Conrad!

So, the jurors won't be giving a presser?

Did everybody know this? I saw it at The Sun (UK) on-line. This was written the day before Day 1 of the CM Trial.

"On the defense team is veteran LA lawyer J. Michael Flanagan, who is more used to the limelight after
he defended singer Britney Spears on a hit-and-run driving rap in 2007 and got the case dismissed.

In 2004, he also defended a nurse accused of killing a patient by wrongly administering Propofol.

The nurse was accused of involuntary manslaughter — the same charge facing Murray — and acquitted.

Flanagan has said: "I'm probably the only attorney in town that has successfully tried a Propofol case involving death." "

FYI, here's what the LA Times said about Juror #3, who turned out to be the foreperson:

"Juror No. 3 is a 45-year-old man who works as a partner in a management consulting firm. His wife is a former registered nurse, and both his brother-in-law and cousin are physicians. He also has relatives who are attorneys. He was seated on two previous juries, including a murder case in 1994. He does not consider himself a Jackson fan but watched "This Is It," the posthumous Jackson concert documentary, on Netflix out of curiosity."

Where is Janet? Haven't seen her at all througout the trial.

Janet was there a few times throughout the trial. She is on concert tour right now in Australia. She actually cancelled/postponed some of her concert dates last week and came back to be present for some of the trial and is now back out of the country again.
