Conspiracy Theories That Make You Face Palm

There are conspiracy theories out there that some agree with and some disagree with. What are theories that make you slap your forehead and wonder how can people think that?

One of mine involve the missing Sodder children. I have no doubt there are a lot of unanswered questions about what happened to the children but I will never believe the mafia went after children because their father was bad mouthing Mussolini. The mafia hated the dictator because he tried to put them out of business and on top of that the mafia doesn't go after children.

Why not put this in the Sodder thread? By the way the mafia or Mussolini had nothing to do with the death of the five children. They died in the fire and the mother and father spent the rest of their lives trying to cover up their failure to save the five children.

This thread isn't about the Sodders it is about theories people find too far fetched to be true.
