"Helem, who is already serving prison time in Virginia for a 2002 Fairfax City murder of Patricia Bentley, was charged in the 1987 murder of a 37-year-old Kensington, Maryland woman. Eige Sober-Adler was found murdered in a field behind a Days Inn off Centreville Road in Herndon...

Helem also confessed to murdering a 19-year-old Prince George's County woman. He allegedly picked up Jennifer Landry in Washington D.C. in August 2002 and then allegedly killed her in Mount Rainier, Prince George's County..."

Just recently read this. Always glad to hear about cold cases being solved, even if family members have passed on in the interim.

I'm curious as to why this guy finally decided to confess after so many years.
