I would bet that those "anonymous donors" are the ones taking pictures at the memorial and making video's. That's why they don't want any other camera's in there. Just the ones that have paid for it.

Does anyone remember that same scenario with the Anna Nicole Smith funeral? I sure do.

Anna Nicole's funeral was private. Howard Stern sold the exclusive rights to Entertainment Tonight. This is a public memorial. It's an entirely different thing.

He just said the press hasn't been hounding the A's, which is good. He has issued press releases and can issue more about the details of the memorial service. Why have a presser? He just seems to want to be out there talking. Lamenting the lack of privacy for the A's in talking to Casey. No shift in the A position as to Casey's guilt. If we don't presume Casey innocent we are disrespecting our troops in Iraq. Okay. Enough for me.

WTH? The troops? I haven't heard the presser, but here's a guess...they are fighting for freedom so they are somehow related to KC now? What about CAYLEE's FREEDOM?

You know the more I think about this....he is not a stupid man, he had to know the ire that his remark about the troops would bring. Why in the helf did he do it? Why is it they seem to have to make at least one remark per statement to pizz people off????? To get in someones face? Why?????????????

I thought he was suppose to help with the public image of Cindy and George. He sure didn't do a good job of it today.
He is making it worse by making statements like that.

If they're having this memorial for the family to have "closure"...but the body's not been released to "her family"..."home"...then help me understand how that brings about closure?

IMO, it will bring about something, but not "closure"...

ETA: just saw the info about the bracelet...so now they (really CA cause she was the only one at home to give JB clothes)...CA didn't know that she couldn't send the bracelet to Casey but she just decided to hide it in her sock??? Just sayin....

I just wanted to say that I do not believe the bracelet thing was done on purpose. I have sent 3 children to summer camp and I put all of their small things that I did not want to get lost in their socks! In no way do I support Cindy Anthony.....I support justice for Caylee, but I just wanted to say there is a small chance Cindy could have put that bracelet in the sock to get a reaction out of Casey. I don't know.

As a mother who on Tuesday sent her son on his second tour of duty in Iraq, I'm appauld at compairing KC to the troops! He and the Anthony's aren't fit to wipe their boots! How much more can they do to alienate people? Guess they just need to open their mouths! LOL

My son is also on his second tour in Iraq.

Conway isn't helping the Anthony's at all. Today, he lost support of many military families by his comment. I hope a proud solider who has just returned from Iraq meets up with Conway this weekend and corrects him on his train of thought about the troops.

No doubt in my mind....this "memorial" is to showcase "mother of the year".....with pics and slideshows and home movies of KC being all cutesy and huggy with Caylee. This presser today was to advertise.

It is a lottery of sorts but doesn't involve money. If money was involved, they wouldn't have a "pool" they'd just sell out to the highest bidder.

They are allowing WFTV, the 'winner' of the pool, to film the memorial and provide copies to other media outlets (the media pool). It limits the media presense and disruption during the service.

I think he means everyone has a right to a presumption of innocence. He's not saying Casey IS innocent ... right?

I think he means that the troops are fighting for our freedom....
and that freedom includes innocent until proven guilty!

Not exact words,sorry, but basically just that JB was being blamed for that and that he shouldn't be because it was the family that put the bracelet in the clothing. He said they didn't realize that they couldn't do that and that they did it because they just wanted her to know they love and support her. (something to that effect, anyway)

There....someone else thinks like I think I posted about 8 posts back that I don't think Cindy put that sock in there on purpose cause I have sent 3 kids to summer camp and I always put the things I didn't want getting lost(like earrings) in their socks. I also said I do not support Cindy Anthony I support justice for Caylee, but I think everyone is getting carried away with the bracelet in the sock thing. It seems like everything that goes on in this case is put under the microscope whether it is significant or not. I will be glad when the case goes to trial and the truth finally comes out and Caylee can rest in peace.

I read or heard recently someone experimented with her daughter's bracelet (which was similar to the one in question) by putting it inside a sock. She said the sock was very bumpy and it was obvious something was in there. There is no excuse for Baez to not check everything he brings inside the jail to pass to Casey because he is ultimately responsible.

I doubt it would be as noticable if the socks were rolled up.
I'm just glad to hear Ca taking the responsibility for putting it in there in the first place. The question is what was her motivation for putting it there? I'm with BetsyB on this one.


That troops comment by BC was soooooo wrong! Leave it at constitutional rights......and dont drag the troops into it and try to guilt-trip the public.

I agree that no exclusive rights to video were sold.

But if pictures are taken and sold, it will still be exactly the same thing as ANS.
