You know the more I think about this....he is not a stupid man, he had to know the ire that his remark about the troops would bring. Why in the helf did he do it? Why is it they seem to have to make at least one remark per statement to pizz people off????? To get in someones face? Why?????????????

I'm not so sure of that. I think he's about as clever as the rest of the As. Changes his story all the time, and thinks we won't notice. BTW, did he apologize for publicly saying it was JB that put the bracelet in the sock last week...that went out to the whole world via NG.

I think his goal was to dampen the flamers so some individuals in the populous will stop and think twice before making threats and increasing fear at a time when cool heads are much more respectful and just especially on Tuesday.

I just wanted to say that I do not believe the bracelet thing was done on purpose. I have sent 3 children to summer camp and I put all of their small things that I did not want to get lost in their socks! In no way do I support Cindy Anthony.....I support justice for Caylee, but I just wanted to say there is a small chance Cindy could have put that bracelet in the sock to get a reaction out of Casey. I don't know.

There is a big difference between summer camp & jail! Cindy has probably signed clothes into KC at the jail before and would have been made aware of the rules.

It is a lottery of sorts but doesn't involve money. If money was involved, they wouldn't have a "pool" they'd just sell out to the highest bidder.

They are allowing WFTV, the 'winner' of the pool, to film the memorial and provide copies to other media outlets (the media pool). It limits the media presense and disruption during the service.

If, in fact, Cindy Anthony placed the bracelet in Casey's sock, I have a different take on it. I don't think a bracelet in remembrance of Caylee telegraphs, "We love and support you." I think it sends the message, "It's about Caylee now."

And for that, I am grateful.

If these things are about to hit the market, and it sure seems they are, I don't see how it sends a message that it is about Caylee at all. The only msg I see is "check out our new merchandise".

I'm still catching up on this thread, so I apologize if this has already been brought up. But Baez in a presser made the same "troops in Iraq" statement verbatim. This is also coming from a guy who didn't have the sense to quit referring to George "being out of the woods". Nice that GA didn't have to spend five months in the woods like his grand daughter. My clients didn't do anything wrong, but they need immunity. BC is nothing more than a spin doctor.

I am surely in the minority here...but I just watched the raw video of the presser...and I like him.

There's a reason why BC stressed the remains are not at the A home & won't be at the church..Unless I missed something they've never been removed from the FH so what is it?..They're worried about security?..Possibly but I think there's a good chance there's already been private funeral & nobody was the wiser..If it wasn't all a ruse (?) that could've been the final straw for GA..It's also very odd to me they'd have this huge (televised) public memorial before the burial..It just seems butt-backwards!

If it turns out there was a burial in secret you can bet BC will whitewash LYING about the remains being at the FH all this time..He & the A's will claim it was necessary for privacy..They don't believe (or care) they'll be taken to task for this big LIE.

Do you think the majority would accept this? What about you?

I understood exactly what he said. I think it was ridiculous to state, however, that you are disrespecting our troops in Iraq if you do not presume Casey A innocent. The state is doing so. She received due process of law before being put in jail pending trial. She wasn't publicly stoned, beheaded or otherwise executed without trial. The state is not even seeking the death penalty. They are going to spend millions giving her a trial. She will get a change of venue and a LONG jury selection process. She has private counsel of her choosing and a panel of forensic experts. In the privacy of my home, based on her behavior and statements and the little "evidence" I've heard, I may think it's highly likely she is guilty. It has absolutely nothing to do with disrespecting our legal system, the constitution or the troops in Iraq. It's a silly attempt at spin.

I would have applauded BC's efforts if he had stopped with the above.

I don't appreciate the interjection about Casey's innocence, presumed or otherwise. It wasn't the time.

Also, for anyone to infer that *represented-to-the-unltimate-hilt* Casey is being deprived of American rights is an insult to every soldier, taxpayer, activist, volunteer and ALL who have sacrificed blood, time and money.

How many people in the WHOLE WORLD have access to all the legal expertise Casey now has fighting for her? Casey is getting her due process and THEN SOME.

I don't understand how they complain about public opinion, then how they give to the public in one sentence! And once again Caylee is taking the backseat to everything else.

My reaction when he stressed they were NOT at the HOME, was maybe they're worried about people trying to get into their home while they're all busy across town at the memorial? It wouldn't surprise me at all to find out the cremated remains are already at the A's.

I gotta respectfully disagree.
I think she received a list of what was and what wasn't acceptable, including style of clothing.
Her daughter has been incarcerated long enough for her to know the rules.
She simply pushed the limits, and
JB also knew the rules, and also pushed the limits.
And the funny thing is Casey wouldn't have wanted to wear it anyway.
She wore all kinds of other jewelry to cover up the find Caylee bracelets, and find Caylee shirts. jmo

I dont watch much NG, so I'll take your word for it. Did BC appear on the show? Or was it tape of him saying it?
