That troops comment by BC was soooooo wrong! Leave it at constitutional rights......and dont drag the troops into it and try to guilt-trip the public.

I don't know Cindy's motivation either. But judging from past behavior, I wouldn't be surprised if she is still using every opportunity to declare Casey's innocence.

I didn't watch the entire presser (got too annoyed) so I don't know about the "un-invite" list. Although I believe on NG last night (which I also didn't watch) LP stated that he was the only one on the list so far. I don't believe they have announced the actual list. Well-meaning folks just may get a surprise at the door if they show up and are not "invited." I can think of a whole host of people who Cindy wouldn't want there.

There's a reason why BC stressed the remains are not at the A home & won't be at the church..Unless I missed something they've never been removed from the FH so what is it?..They're worried about security?..Possibly but I think there's a good chance there's already been private funeral & nobody was the wiser..If it wasn't all a ruse (?) that could've been the final straw for GA..It's also very odd to me they'd have this huge (televised) public memorial before the burial..It just seems butt-backwards!

If it turns out there was a burial in secret you can bet BC will whitewash LYING about the remains being at the FH all this time..He & the A's will claim it was necessary for privacy..They don't believe (or care) they'll be taken to task for this big LIE.

Do you think the majority would accept this? What about you?

(Bold is mine.) I agree and don't have a problem with that. The family is entitled to mourn privately. As far as the remains, not long after Baez got them I heard a rumor about cremation. As far as not announcing it publicly, I can appreciate the need to keep it quiet. However, I hope the Anthony's are being forthcoming with LE, if not the public. Of course we all know how forthcoming they have been thus far.

I call what I carry a pocketbook. I would refer to a clutch bag (without handles) as a purse. However, I think that pocketbook/purse are interchangeable.

LOL I never knew there was a place where they didn't say pocketbook. Yes, the thing ladies carry all our crap in that hangs from our arm or shoulder and weighs about 60 pounds in my case. Same thing as a purse. Fancy ladies say "bag" as in "I have a Coach bag, isn't it simply lovely".

So they don't want anyone carrying anything in it sounds like. And yet, you know there will be pirated pictures in the Enquirer by next week. And exclusive quotes from attendees.

I use the word Purse for pocketbook, but my husband always calls it a handbag. Same thing.

But I don't understand how that will work. What about keys? Surely they'll allow people to bring their car keys in.

With all the chaos that has been discussed about the public memorial there is no way this can go smoothly for anyone involved with the memorial production. I'll take all the banter happily if this day goes without a hitch. Right now I'm kind of fearful that this is going to stir people up in a negative way. You are so right- and--yes this is a Holy place !

This is why I am so furious...... everyone is welcomed in God's House- It's not CA's house-- she needs to leave her spitefulness outside and welcome everyone-Don't use God's House to vent your anger!
Public, means everyone- to choose becomes private. You can't have it both ways.
If this is truly about Caylee- LP, LE, the G's, and anyone else who cared about her should be able to come. If someone starts a problem, then have them removed, for being disrespectful in God's House.
The comments being repetitive about protesters, etc, sounds more like trying to intimidate trouble.
It's just disgusting...... When will it end?

Everything is about CA. She doesn't know what "low profile" means. She's been front and center throughout this entire tragedy and now she has her mouthpiece, BC, doing her bidding. Nothing is about good taste, nothing is about solemnity and certainly, little is about Caylee. Heaven forbid she behaves with class for a change! I will continue to pay my respects for Caylee every day.

Just home from work. Okay, this might be wrong of me to ask as it might of been talked about earlier in the thread...but what in the world does the troops who are fighting for our country, and what they go through when they return from duty..have to do with this case and what the A's are going through? ( I watched a tid bit of the presser from work). Please don't bash me for this.

It really has nothing to do with the troops. More dramatics from BC (and apparently JB says the same thing). I guess they think the troops are over there fighting for KC's constitutional rights. It's discussed on this thread and pretty much no one agrees he should be saying it!

It is odd how he's at the As all the time, particularly given he says they haven't done anything wrong and he's a criminal lawyer, not a funeral director.

Nor is he a psychologist. I loved how BC said Cindy and co. were holding this memorial as a "selfless" thing. Puleeze, selfless and Cindy A. do not belong in even the same paragraph, let alone the same sentence.

I think the thing I find most offensive about the presser, is the person making the announcement is a criminal defence lawyer who is advising people to refuse to co-operate into the investigation of Caylee's murder. That is soooo off and offensive imo.

Also, didn't BC say before that GA and CA would be claiming the 5th, and would NOT answer any questions in their depositions?...and yet in this presser, he says they WILL answer the questions required of them. Seems like what BC reports from the A's has alot to do with which way the wind is blowing.
