What a disservice (understatement)
I've been experiencing the same thing. My folks wouldn't listen to me and they watch fox news. The only thing that got their attention was my sister sending empty shelves at Costco.....

I got my 36 mega rolls of tp from amazon today, and my digital thermometer is arriving tomorrow. I noticed the price of those has shot up on amazon.

I thought of one today. As I came home, after sitting in a few public places, I didn't want the seat of my pants on any of my furniture. I've always been like Mr. Rogers in that I usually change my clothes into "inside" clothes that are different than my "outside" clothes when I get home. I've always done that for comfort but today it just felt cleaner (whether it's real or imagined cleanliness).

This contradicts what we have heard about symptoms between corona virus and the flu.
Have we not been told dry cough and high fever with nothing nasal and no aches and pains?

I'm not sure what the link said as it wasn't about coronavirus vs flu when I clicked.

The studies I've seen say that it has some variance between cases. The main symptoms at the outset seem to be a dry cough, a fever (which might not be very high in everyone). Tiredness and muscle aches, like with flu. And like flu, the precise symptoms and how you feel can vary as the illness goes from beginning, middle, to recovered. At some point it's said there could be some diahhroea and vomiting. And if there's a runny nose or upper respiratory tract symptoms they might come on later rather than at the beginning.

I got that from watching the Dr John Campbell vids and some case studies and journal articles that he went through in his videos a few weeks ago.

Dr John Campbell talked about this in one of his early videos. He said that for SARS and MERS there was a risk of miscarriage, and that pregnant women didn't seem to be able to mount strong enough immune responses to the viruses.

Covid-19 is a coronavirus, as are SARS and MERS, so he had a question mark on how pregnant women might be affected by it.

I am not up to date on his videos, so I can't say for sure if there are studies going over outcomes for pregnant women. I think if there was anything too worrying it would probably have got into the media by now. So this coronavirus might not impact pregnant women in the way SARS and MERS do...but it's like having a single small sip of alcohol probably isn't going to damage the fetus, but most pregnant women still tend to avoid alcohol out of an abundance of caution.

So it's probably best for a pregnant woman to speak with her doctor (whatever the pregnant woman's specialist is called in North America?) and see if they've been looking through the journals for anything specific to pregnancy, and what advice they have.
I'll add to this that if a pregnant woman becomes critically ill, the treatment needed may be equally or more dangerous to the fetus as the disease.

Me too. When I come home I enter from my garage into my laundry room. I leave my rob there and change out of work clothes / shoes before entering my house.

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Campbell Soup (CPB.N) said it is ordering more ingredients to ensure it can keep enough soups, sauces and snacks on hand to meet growing demand from retailers as U.S. consumers hoard food in preparation for potential coronavirus quarantines.

Over the weekend, a few retail customers began stepping up orders, Campbell Chief Executive Mark Clouse told Reuters in an interview on Tuesday. The company had already begun building inventory for ingredients that are usually stockpiled during natural disasters, including canned soups, snacks and Prego pasta sauces.

"We're working very closely with folks to make sure that we keep them in stock," Clouse said, adding that "honestly before this weekend we had not seen much" higher demand.
