If I’m reading that excellent graph right, the U.S. number of cases per million is below EVERY other country! Seriously?

CDC is now investigating potential spread of coronavirus through services at Christ Church in Georgetown and DC urging temporary halt in services there, due to frequent presence of man in his 50s who is DCs first confirmed case

2) Update: the DC infected person has self identified himself - he’s the rector of the Christ Church of Georgetown! He shakes hundreds of hands a week... oh boy on boy... Andrew Leyden on Twitter
I wonder if you can still buy personal hand held respirators. In February 2009, I came down with H1N1 flu, and had to be hospitalized for one night, and then had to use a hand held respirator for a few days until I recovered. I went to emergency because I had a sudden very high temperature and trouble breathing. They said I tested negative for bacterial pneumonia, but probably had viral pneumonia but could go home. The hospital had no more beds, and I stayed overnight in the emergency department. Am wondering if it would be good for people to keep a hand held respirator handy, and if they can be purchased at most pharmacies?
I'm sure that's due to our lack of testing. If I’m reading that excellent graph right, the U.S. number of cases per million is below EVERY other country! Seriously?

more like a vector.Ummm, perhaps he is an example of a human fomite? (Ha! just had to add that word to my computer dictionary) Not spread due to infection of himself having the disease, but hand to hand to infecting others with the virus from another person...jeez...
So many cases for epidemiologists and this for sure is one. I can envision folks now in their doctorate programs raising their hands wanting this case. My wonder is was he not infected and just transmitting like a surface fomite.
I'm sure that's due to our lack of testing.
Naaaa....just caught with pants down.....I think we were arrogant enough to think we could isolate from it.?Intentionally suppressed for "The Numbers"?
I read an article a few weeks ago about food you can freeze and was surprised by some of the items. Also good freezing tips. It was an article in The Independent, a UK publication that I read online. I didn't keep the web address or link, but it was called "A Complete Guide to Freezing Food: What You Can and Can't Put in the Freezer.' It was based on an interview with a doctor on Australia's Today show. Dr. Joanna McMillan (I printed out the article) "dispelled some of the myths around freezing foods, and revealed which ingredients many of us don't know can be safely frozen, such as eggs and herbs." I will try to find the link. I am going to try to freeze peeled bananas and eggs cracked into small containers.
