I find this to be sooo frustrating that I am basically 'isolating' from some of my close relatives...can't handle talking to them, it just gets me too worked up.

I do agree a hundred percent.
So many people I know appear to think this will not affect them and are only concerned about their holidays or shortages in the supermarket.
They think if they wash their hands and use sanitizer they will not catch it.
And these are very intelligent professional people!

I was reading the comments under a WISTV Facebook post with the chart of the symptoms of Coronavirus and flu. The comments under the post are the usual - more people die of the flu each year, it is just a cold, the media is hyping up the story for clicks, only those over 60 with other health problems need to worry. It is mind boggling that these people think this is just the flu or the common cold or media hype causing Italy to quarantine the entire country, the stock market is crashing, airlines are cancelling flights, major universities are moving to online schools, etc etc. Mind boggling and infuriating
Somewhere along the line, there will be the one thing (or several) that makes them sit up and pay attention...and stop making light of it. I hope!

We are told 24/7 to wash our hands so I think many people believe clean hands is a cure all. If someone sneezes at us, it matters none of our hands are clean.

My boss thinks the flu is worse, and coronavirus hype is a plot by the democrat's to make trump look bad (by making the economy tank). I wish I was kidding.

LIVE coronavirus update: Ontario confirms one new COVID-19 case, bringing provincial total to 36
''10:30 a.m.:
Ontario health officials announced one new COVID-19 case Tuesday, bringing the total in the province to 36.

The patient is in his 40s who recently travelled to Switzerland, officials say. He was treated at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto, and is now self-isolated.

The Ministry of Health says COVID-19 is not circulating locally, but officials are actively working to prepare for potential local spread of the illness.''

Concerning preparedness, I’ve been wondering about these
5 gallon jugs of water I have stored for several years now. Was concerned if it could have somehow gone bad.
According to the information in the link, it will be fine. Has anyone here had any experience with drinking bottled water that is several years old ?
Does bottled water go bad?

I had some go bad! Mine was stored in a warm-ish area. Once opened there was a distinct odor.
