@CP24

JUST IN: A man in his 50s who recently attended the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada convention in Toronto has been confirmed as the first positive case of COVID-19 in the Sudbury area, health officials say.
CP24 on Twitter

“On the PDAC website, conference organizers say the mineral and mining convention boasts an attendance of nearly 26,000 people from 132 countries. It took place from March 1 - 4 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in downtown Toronto”

I was a pediatric nurse, so other end of the spectrum, but when kids got REALLY SICK with chicken pox, (back in the day before a vaccine) we'd bring them in the back door and place them immediately in a room.
We would also schedule the preemies for first appointment of the day before other people came in and spread their germs during RSV season.
1st appointment of the morning or 1st after lunch, typically get seen sooner.
Not sure if that helps.
Moo
Thank you for commenting, good idea to try for an early appointment.

The problem is that we don't have any immunity to this virus. It seems like. If someone with the Chicken Pox came on a bus, 90% of the people would have already had it, or a vaccine. That leaves 10%, who may not even be close enough to the person to catch it.

This virus, 100% of the people could catch it. Big difference.

I wonder how they have determined that no human has immunity, when they don't fully understand the virus itself?

I think that if you post this kind of remedies, you should post the scientific data to support their use. Otherwise, you could be adding to the mounting pile of misinformation and quack remedies. jmo
That’s an unfortunate misconception. We’re posting this info. according to our own personal experiences concerning natural remedies. That’s all. To be helpful to those who might be interested.

The truth is that most, if not all, natural remedies are not worth it to Big Pharma to study them. Why? Because they can’t make their multimillions off of them. Yet many people still benefit from them every day. So... Those of us who post information like that is to help others here because we care. We’re just sharing our own experience.
Unlike Big Pharma, there’s no gain on our part. At least there’s that.

Not a surprise. The surprise is we haven’t heard from other TSA sites.

@Tbone144 , I’m in the last thread and just got a giggle reading your post about “being being sure to have salsa, that in case you get stuck eating beans, at least it will have some flavor”. :D

This is sooo true, as I’m already rationing and eating poor man’s tacos. I was dyyying for some kind of salsa yesterday and really kicked myself for not getting more things like that. I was so focused on basic items I didn’t think much about the accessories. But the good thing is I have lots of spices. As I said earlier, I’ve already maximized my financial resources, and next time I get food it will likely be via delivery as I’ve already initiated my seclusion.

But yes, advice to those shopping, don’t forget some spice, or garlic bulbs, etc. as I mentioned yesterday.
If you’ve got a few jalapeños or peppers - use a dehydrator. Then use your ninja bullet to pulverize into powder.
Add to soup, stew beef, put in your beef/chicken meat for some kick it up seasoning.

We have 3 confirmed cases in Ohio and today our governor told us to go through drive-thrus but do not go inside restaurants to eat.

Yes, its up near my county, about 30 minutes away. When I was out running errands, I felt so bad for the people who have to work in the stores and restaurants. They must feel like sitting ducks, waiting to get sick from customers coming in.

They've closed down some schools and the latest news is that 6 health care workers at UH are now in quarantine. A large group of people went to the AIPAC Conference in Washington DC last week. Many of them traveled in a bus and one passenger has the virus now.
