I agree. Gloves will keep the virus off hands and remind us to keep hands away from face.

You are so right about the 2nd part too. Its really bizarre but when I had the gloves on, I instinctively would hardly ever touch my face with the gloves on. When I did, I would stop myself because of the texture of the gloves.

I think the only way we’ll get through this is with lots of humor.

This is freaking insane.

I noticed Hydrogen Peroxide was wiped out yesterday. A store employee told me that HP is the best product to wipe out the virus. Lysol doesn't kill the C entirely
The problem with HP is that it should be left on for at least 6 minutes, optimally about 8 minutes and few people do it that way.

From the Oregon State government website. Lots of helpful info. Two people have been tested and results are pending, but it also says 2 are negative, so it’s confusing. It also lists the number under investigation with symptoms who may have been exposed (4, 2 cleared) and those without symptoms who may have been exposed (254, 178 cleared). No confirmed cases currently.
Also lots of FAQ, Resources for health care partners, and fact sheets.

OHA has not been truthful in other outbreaks. There have been conflicting reports that some ppl already tested positive for it here. We shall see in a few days.....

Our state and local health departments are reminding us to get the flu shot. You know, the one that doesn't prevent COVID=19. They say we're at more risk of developing the regular flu than COVID-19. Based on past experience, we have a horrible public health system in this state. Completely out of touch and beyond austere. If it costs money, they aren't going to do it.

Ohio Health Dept and Gov DeWine are also refusing to specify the region where any of the people in the state who are currently suspected of having COVID-19.

I'm filling out my Sees Candy order as this is happening.

I'm adding a 1 # box everytime a new positive case is reported.

I'm gonna need a shed to put it all in by the end of this weekend.

Good stuff :) I mostly use it for cooking (gravy, sauces, etc.) but enjoy a snifter on occasion - for medicinal purposes ;)
I'm a firm believer in "internal sterilization"

Just pop a probiotic every once in a while

American Exceptionalism - Some folks think we're such a vastly superior country that nothing bad can happen and the usual rules don't apply here. :mad:o_O

After following from the beginning to the new report from the China WHO team and seeing "stuff" here in US - The US could have never handled this outbreak if happened here as well as the Chinese did.

MOO and no tomatoes please.

What they were able to do QUICKLY with shutting down cities, martialing the army, not having to go through red tape for test kits and approval, setting up thousands to do contact tracers, turning 36 hospitals into COVID only hospitals in Wuhan, building new hospitals, their use of AI and large information, folks following directives and staying home, etc etc etc. I cannot fathom one city in the US handling it. Not one.

No way we would have the containment capabilities at the onset when it REALLY got to spread. At least now, the US has seen what is needed and can use that information to justify some actions if/when we see community spread. We'll just have to see.

MOO.

JerseyGirl: How do I forward the poll to you? I don't see your Conversation link o_O It's ready when you are.

I once tried to communicate and found the same. So I hit the "report" button and put the information in that and asked to forward to JerseyGirl HTH
