I knew I should have been buying gold bars yesterday rather than toilet paper....
Hmmm. Toilet paper does have a legit place on the supply list. And cannot be replaced with gold bars. :)

Wash your hands after handling it.

I’m going to keep a bucket of the liquid Lysol cleaner and just toss my money in! Let it marinate for 24 hours, another 24 hours of blasting it with UV rays by drying it with sunshine, and then good to go.

If it survives all that..... then it’s going to get me no matter what!!

Bump / This mornings PC:

@dixiegirl1035 making note about the China report Doc T mentions that is now available on WHO website. Is this a new report? Or is it “the one you posted 3x” the other day? :D

(Rewinding / Making a note)

Take the money and make sure to wash your hands later (and don't touch your face).

If taking the currency stresses you out, use a credit card.

Health-care professionals keep saying, "Wash your hands" because it's effective.

Ahhh! I worked state swim meet championships last weekend as money taker.. And I'm working again tomorrow and Sunday as well. I may need a bucket of lysol by my cash box. Sigh...

LIVE: Milwaukee city leaders hold news conference on coronavirus

This reminds me. I wanted to make the recommendation/suggestion for members here to be plugged into what is your going on in your own state specifically. I’ve been doing this by googling “Covid Colorado” (and variations there of), “Coronavirus Colorado”, etc.

It brought me some satisfaction shall we say to know and see in writing what my State is doing and their level or preparedness.

I just received a delivery from Amazon. What did I do after opening it ? Sprayed the box and box cutter with Lysol, washed my hands, wiped down the counter with disinfection wipes.
This is nuts!

Yes and please post whatever things you come across. (We must stand together in solidarity . :) )

As you may have seen, I posted some of my local findings last night, you know important things like “this is like preparing for a snowstorm.” (Sorry not letting that one go. Snowstorm my arse!!)

South Korea, Iran and Italy are BLOWING UP.

Watching closely - I’m afraid these three locations are going to reflect what we see pretty much everywhere in the world that has any level of population density.

You have to love the persistent optimism of the WHO and the CDC, but as far as I’m concerned, that “window of opportunity” slammed shut about the same day Hubei went on lockdown.

I’ve said it before.... You can’t stop it if you can’t see it coming!!!

All MOO....

Googled does washing clothes kill germs and found some disturbing/gross info. Not sure if this counts as scientifically based info but I’ll see if I can find more.
You Asked: Does Washing My Clothes Kill All the Germs?
I think I’m going to run a clean cycle with some bleach in my washing machine quick.

I've been using Lysol Laundry Sanitizer. You put it in the rinse cycle and let it sit for 16 minutes. It is supposed to remove 99.9% of bacteria. I use the Sport formula and it got rid of all of the odors on spandex leggings that I hadn't been able to remove before no matter how much detergent I used or how many times I ran them through the wash cycle. I have no idea if this would be of any help with a virus.

Speaking of hand sanitizer....

Omg, this tweet just now from our local news! They are literally announcing a potential shortage. What an excellent way to have people panic and go create a shortage!

I saw a post in this thread about a week ago saying to watch out for ibuprofen.....I need a lot of it for my migraines....and it seems the supermarket is now sold out of the generic :(

Other than the hand sanitizers and the ibuprofen, I'm not seeing any major issues in the online stores here....yet. Then again I guess people might go out and do monthly shopping this weekend, so it might be a different story by Monday?

But it's not so easy to wipe your bum with a gold bar!

Something else to think about (also in the early news releases) is that fever is the natural way to fight the virus. Taking fever reducing medication makes us feel better, but might also give the virus an advantage.
