I'm not sure what you mean. Ivermectin is a drug with a DIN, so it is always dispensed with written instructions for dosages, both for animals or humans (if using human formulations). Do you mean to say that Ivermectin can be purchased in pills, paste, injectable, pour on, or other formats and there are no dosage instructions? I've worked in vet med since Ivermectin was first marketed, and have never seen it available without dosage instructions. But maybe because I'm in Canada and perhaps drug laws are different here than in the US.

No. I thought you meant it was only dosed for animals. Did I misunderstand you? I've talked to several people (and read more) in the US who don't realize Ivermectin does have a very limited human use. They think it is ONLY for horses.

Some humans are buying animal formulations, where instructions are written for 1,200 lb horses. Whether they even figure out what is the correct dosage for a huma is another story.

Isn't fluvoxamine Prozac?

As stated above, fluVoxAMine is the generic name of Luvox, while fluoxETine is the generic name for Prozac (capitalization to highlight the differences in spelling ). It should be noted that fluvoxamine, like ritonavir (a component of Paxlovid) has many interactions with other drugs, and needs to be prescribed carefully.

Interesting that the NIH (the Institute that Fauci works for) is conducting this clinical trial on ivermectin, and that in the lab it stops the replication of the virus.

A very high concentration is needed to stop replication of the virus.

I presume those would be people who were totally healthy with no pre-existing conditions. I am not sure what that is good for. Most people killed by covid have pre-existing conditions. That doesn't mean covid didn't kill them. Most of them had many years of life ahead of them if not for covid infection.

I can't open this so I'm curious. But are they saying that say someone with obesity or type 2 diabetes died from that condition rather than just covid? Or are we talking about something other than covid that truly contributed to death.

I wish I could read the links. But I mean most of us who are fat and or diabetic would not have died for a very long time if they'd not contracted covid.

This is what I want to know. There is nothing remotely encouraging to me about the idea that something that wasn't currently going to kill you is now considered a contributor to why you died instead of just flat out covid. I know that being overweight and obese contributes to risk factor and death. BUT most of those people were in no way going to be dropping dead in a couple of years. The overwhelming majority of Americans for example have preexisting conditions with just weight and age alone as considerations.

When that is blown off it just feels like soft eugenics. "We only lost our fat people and old people, our diabetic people, our people with lupus."

I've been pissed about the lying over masks throughout the pandemic. It's been a complete cluster****. But I considered myself to not be a moron and will still be making better choices for myself and family that are not contingent on what everyone else is doing.

In my area of the midwest, Walgreen's have normal hours, no reduction in hours. No lines, in and out. I do the drive-through window for my prescriptions. Public libraries, schools, etc. haven't needed to close, bus drivers seem to be back to work now that the omicron surge is reaching its peak and starting to go down.

I am about to put in my next chewy.com order this weekend, so hope it goes through!

Wow! We actually had a couple of area schools close a couple of weeks ago due to a lack of bus drivers (people out with COVID.)
