Looks like Europe is getting the flu/covid (2-in-1 shot) combo vaccine before us. It was slated to be here potentially last year but the administration put a stop to it. :( Hopefully we can get it soon as it's supposed to work better than getting the flu and covid shots separately. Plus, 1 jab is better than 2 IMO! :D

The world’s first combination seasonal influenza and COVID-19 vaccine, Moderna’s mCombriax, has received marketing authorization from the European Commission, following a positive review from the European Medicines Agency’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use.

Moderna said on Monday its combination vaccine to protect against both Covid and influenza generated a stronger immune response in adults aged 50 and over when compared to separate shots against the viruses in a late-stage trial.

True, but since I seem to have a reaction to the Moderna vax (not horrible but a typical post-vax reaction of a day or two of mild fever, dizziness, body aches, etc) and little to no reaction to a flu shot, I would rather get them separately than risk a stronger reaction to a double shot.

Weirdly, I have had zero reaction to Pfizer vaxes, so I now choose that one whenever I have the option.
