Ohio Department of Health believes 100,000 Ohioans are carrying coronavirus

More than 100,000 people are believed to be infected with the coronavirus, according statements by officials with the Ohio Department of Health during a Thursday afternoon news conference.

That number accounts for around 1% of Ohio’s population.

I'm a senior citizen and this is so scary. I doubt I'll ever recover from these losses. The economic toll this is taking, as well as of course the death toll and sickness is just overwhelming.

My understanding was that BP and asthma dont make it more likely to get the virus, but more likely to make it worse if you do get it.

I'll see what doctor says. He cleared me to fly almost immediately after PE.

PE as in pulmonary embolism? I daughter and I have Factor V, Leiden. It’s a blood clotting disorder. I’ve had a blood clot 40+ yrs. ago. I have to take Lovenox injections every time I have surgery. However, my daughter at the age of 23 on birth control patch had 3 PEs. She was hospitalized, for a week and was on Coumadin for a year. She was an RN at the time, knew about my blood clotting history. At that time, they had just learned Factor V. While hospitalized, she was seen to an internist, pulmonologist and a hematologist. Now 15 yrs. later, she still has to be extremely cautious when driving for long trips and/or flying.
Good luck and take precautions when flying.

Utah Jazz players infected by COVID-19 stayed at Detroit hotel

Detroit — Two Utah Jazz players who tested positive for the coronavirus stayed at a downtown Detroit hotel, Mayor Mike Duggan confirmed Thursday.

"The Utah Jazz played the Pistons at Little Caesars Arena. Two Jazz players, Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, subsequently were diagnosed with COVID-19," Duggan said.

Four days later, Oklahoma health officials tested Gobert on Wednesday and determined he had been infected. Wednesday's game between the Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder was canceled before tip-off...
