If you lived in Phoenix and were planning to drive to Puerto Penasco staying at the Mayan Palace for a week 3/22-3/29 would you cancel due to the Coronavirus?

That little girl who is sick in the New York City area was not spared. Its a small grouping of people but it started with a middle aged attorney who had been travelling. Someone visited her school and her saga began.

Now, IIRC, its about 20-40 people affected from the lawyer.

Terrible news.
How will we all bear burying children due to this virus?

hope he recovers well!

I feel bad because I thought he only had one abscessed tooth that needed to come out which was an acute situation and dealt with right away. The resorbtion thingy is an ongoing chronic issue that I was completely unaware of. I thought he was fat because he was a lazy boy (or vice versa) but he probably just felt crappy for a long time. Poor boy. Even tonight after the anesthetic wore off he's been more active than he has for the last 5 years. And if anyone is wondering, all my pets go for yearly check ups and the vet didn't see any issues with resorbtion. My poor big 26 pound love lump.

The company’s CEO, Bruce Clark, said his company could produce as many as 10 million doses a month.

3 Bayer plants closed this week for a few days because 1 employee thought they MIGHT have coronavirus. Turns out they did not have it. If there was a testing kit readily available this would not have happened.

I'm not a favor of "jumping regulatory hurdles" in this situtation.

By November, this wave will be over and likely the second. There are also other vaccines in the pipeline and they will be reviewed without jumping "regulatory" hurdles (which in my mind are proper statistically analyzed reviews of vaccine stabiliy, safety, and efficacy).

I remember reading about the disasters of poorly reviewed drugs and treatment (Thalidomide !) and have to be on the side of proven safety and efficacy.

hmmmm I think I would go, I’d definitely bring Lysol spray, my own pillows, cleaning supplies, some food, masks, gloves, lol.....what a great vacay, huh?
I’m such a germaphobic I wonder if I’ll ever eat in a restaurant again or sleep in a hotel. We had a big hepatitis issue the last two years in KY restaurants, now the novel C makes me really concerned about anyone handling my food.

There was something interesting I noticed on the CDC’s website about a report on vaping and made a note in the early threads. It just happened to be released the same day as...anyway I made a note on the possible coincidence (or not)...it is back there in the abyss...

Ps: I vape hash oil so I’m sure that puts me in a higher risk factor.

It's just a theory of mine. People have "vaped" for years with no people dying suddenly.
Until August!
Then bootleg THC vape pods arrived in THC friendly areas (like Seattle) for instance where weed is legal everywhere!!!
No, I dont think the nursing home people vaped at all,
But... what IF wherever it was produced, "something" got into the supply and started taking people out?
Mostly young... and healthy, but admitted to vaping...
President Trump pulled them from the market. ALL vapes,
Which I scoffed at when i heard.
No WAY he can do that!
Poif! Juul pods flavored or not GONE!!!
There are ZERO in any smoke shops here in Georgia where I live. Drug stores pulled them all off the shelves.
Still today we see vaping still being mentioned... in relation to Coronavirus.
I dont believe in coincidences, there has to be something here...
Something I'll never figure out and the public will never know, if we do it'll be in 5 years or longer.

Ten Australians have tested positive for coronavirus while staying at a ski resort in Aspen, Colorado, according to local health authorities.

Yeah, It's not a good time to come to CO for a ski trip. Pitkin county is a hot spot and there are also cases in Summit, Eagle and Gunnison counties. The high altitude will exacerbate any respiratory condition, and health care facilities are very limited in the rugged Rockies.
