Is West Va our poorest state? Rhetorical, I’ll google...sorry.
There is no reason for them to not have novel C so I think anyone sick assumes they have a cold/flu and I also consider some are unaware the virus exists. Moo
I was thinking about W Va the other day, how this might impact the state. Moo

Did any of us ever think there would be a thread such as this? That we wouldn't have access to TP or hand bac? That our young folk have to be (hopefully) mindful of their senior loved ones?

A tiny baby – born overnight in the UK – has become the world’s youngest case of coronavirus.

The child’s mother had been rushed to a London hospital days earlier with suspected pneumonia, reports The Sun. Overnight, she and her tot were being treated at separate hospitals in North London’s Edmonton.

The mum was tested at North Middlesex Hospital but her positive result was known only after the birth. The baby was tested within minutes of arrival.

Medics are still trying to establish whether the tot was infected during birth, or contracted the virus in the womb. The baby remains at the hospital while the mum has been moved to a specialist infections hospital.

Because my uncle is a retired WV Catholic priest who is really good at prayer??? LOL! Just being silly. No offense to anyone. My uncle is awesome. I told him to pray for my A/C because I can’t afford to replace it. That was in Nov. it’s still working, barely.

Right on! Keep him on the job.

I'll be taking mine to work with me.

Yeah, "take your child to work" now has a whole new meaning. If I had kiddos, I would do that too.

What else can you do? Geez, this flu is a never ending dominoes game. Stuff just keeps falling down.

Score! I cleaned out a drawer in my bathroom vanity today and found a pocket sized bottle of hand sanitizer. I yelled, "Yes!" so loud you would have thought I won the lottery. LOL. Sometimes, it's the little victories that keep us going. :D:cool:
Check the expiration date.

Oh, what a risk to bring kids to work at such a time. Terrifying considering what they might be exposed to.

You're near me, aren't you. How've you made it through this warmer-than-normal winter season without A/C? I've been down here for 11.5 years now and this has been the warmest winter I can remember since moving here.
Yes I’m on Gulf Coast south of Tampa. I’ve been turning the ceiling fans on high, keeping the blinds almost completely closed and not using lights as much. I use the oven early in the morning. Veggies for breakfast anyone? LOL! The A/C blows air, it’s just not always cold. I had Freon added in Oct. I need to call the service man out again to check it. I’m hoping to limp it along as much as possible.

Confused about what exactly is a political post. Can we not criticize someone because of their actions, despite their elected position? What about someone who is NOT elected? Can we criticize? I don't understand what a person's political party has to do with an action which is questionable. Thanks for the answers.

Well, I bet that a lot of parents will get laid off, use up sick leave, or be allowed to do telework.

there are people begging. You don’t get paid when laid off, and in many places in right to work states, they’ll fire you to not pay unemployment. No one I know has a month of paid sick leave. You can’t work from home for many jobs. I work from home every day. I earned that. We deal with credit cards and personal info. My company simply does not have anywhere near enough virtual based equipment to send our 8400 office workers home to work either . My system is dramatically different than the buildings too: there is training involved.
