Omg all the prices have gone waaay up. Holy crap.

I have a saved list. Everything looks more expensive. Will give a full report.

Supply and demand.

I have several saved lists and nothing looks way more expensive. Normal fluctuations with some items increasing a little bit and other items decreasing little bit.

I hope police looks for other sanitizer hoarders who have garages full for resale and confiscates that too.
No, I hope police concentrate on real criminals, the ones that commit robbery, drug selling, murder. I don't care about hoarders.

UK

The coronavirus epidemic in the UK will last until next spring and could lead to 7.9 million people being hospitalised, a secret Public Health England (PHE) briefing for senior NHS officials reveals.

The document says that: “As many as 80% of the population are expected to be infected with Covid-19 in the next 12 months, and up to 15% (7.9 million people) may require hospitalisation.”

The document, seen by the Guardian, is the first time health chiefs tackling the virus have admitted that they expect it to circulate for another 12 months and lead to huge extra strain on an already overstretched NHS.

Kids in my area are not remotely interested in physical labor. They much prefer solitude in their rooms with their phone as company. I anticipate many getting in trouble if they are on leave from school for a couple months. Moo moo
Mowing lawns, raking leaves, rolling garbage cans to the curb, returning garbage cans up to the house, pick up litter, go to a state park and help with trail clearing, etc. I’m a cancer patient and a few weeks ago, I needed a driver. Took me asking 6 people before someone who’s schedule could do it. There are orgs that are always looking for volunteers to deliver people to the doctors, meals to the shut ins, etc.

I did not realize that kids these days do manual labor!!!!
I do expect many getting into trouble with too much free time.

Great information! A MUST read in my opinion.

I'm to the point I feel obliged to help educate through social media, although I usually only post 3x a year. This is the second one today I'm sharing on my FB. Thanks for the link to the OP @EstrellaEspectral for 9 coronavirus charts everyone should see

I was talking to a family member today after we watched today's WH presser, and they said that folks still just do NOT understand AT ALL. We watched today the information about lowering the curve, and my family member didn't understand it, and also said most folks these days do not watch the pressers as they don't watch tv, and are living their lives with children.

.................so off I go to perhaps get unfriended on facebook (jeez folks, just do a 30 day turn off on me lol)

OHIO...he said he was considering it on face the nation today

We will be issuing an order closing all bars and restaurants in #Ohio beginning at 9:00 tonight.

Establishments can stay open for carry-out and delivery. What we can't have is people congregating and seated.

I'm aware that this will impact many, many good workers. I can't tell you how sorry I am, but we will work to mitigate the suffering. It is our goal for everyone to get through this. #COVID19 #COVID19OhioReady

Every day we delay, more people will die.
If we do not act and get some distance between people, our healthcare system in #Ohio will not hold up. The loss won't only be those impacted by #COVID19, but the danger is also to everyone else who needs hospital care for other issues.

Everyone be on high alert if you are out. Desperate people do desperate things. How long before someone is robbed of their food as they walk from WMT to their car? Be alert and safe. Moo

The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that “MGM Resorts International announced Sunday that it would temporarily suspend operations at all Las Vegas properties, effective Tuesday.”

This includes its hotels and casinos. “The Las Vegas-based company operates the Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage, Luxor, New York-New York, Excalibur and Park MGM. It also owns 50 percent of CityCenter, which includes Aria and Vdara,” the Journal writes.

There is price gouging going on - one can of greens (not a case) is now offered for over $75.

Did you have to give your name? We’re you asked where you went locally? Tysm
I think the data from calls is used to give local health departments a clue as to how many are inflicted. If one state gets 100 calls a day from one community, they know they have a prob. Sure, not all have it but many might. Moo
Yes to my name. Yes they asked if I had traveled outside of the US. Also had to give my date of birth & address. I also had to answer a lot of other medical questions & they asked me to describe how I was feeling & what I had been doing in the last week-ish (that was before their questions & after I had given my name, dob & address).

Well, that shuts down Las Vegas. Yikes.

Me too...a family member is mad because I called her out with data and she was propagating the conspiracy theories...good grief, she should have known better. She works in the medical field. STAY HOME, SAVE LIVES.

preppers? Seems that's what we 75-year olds, with compromised immune systems, who need to self- isolate, are called these days....You can bet we won't be the ones with snotty noses sneezing on you.

Just jumping off your post here, Chelly. I am 45. I have lupus, psoriatic arthritis and ulcerative colitis. And I have numerous overlapping syndromes. I take upwards of 25 pills a day and trust me, it’s not by choice. I am compromised. I am at high risk. I may look healthy, but I am far from it.

This is our life.

IMOO - There’s more to the story than meets the eye. Actions speak louder than words. Don’t focus on just the numbers.

Is there a "more to the story" than we have posted here that you are referring to? Or just for the general public who hasn't seen what we have on these threads?
