Maybe everyone should be eligible & get them at staggered Xs to prevent cattle drives.
Thankfully, the food stamp measure that would have kicked 700,000 people off was blocked. We are all in this together. Love to all.

COLORADO

A friend of mine is quarantined because he has been in Summit county CO within the past week. There is a 4 county area in CO with high levels of community transmission. Summit county is one of them.

STAY HOME, SAVE LIVES

I'm hearing that many local government employees here in Western Colorado have been advised to stay home and self-quarantine if they've been to Summit, Pitkin, Eagle or Gunnison counties in the past week. It's going to have a huge effect because these are extremely popular areas for recreation, and there's a good number of people who actually commute in from those counties.

I also anticipate that more local government closures are coming, and we'll likely get to the point that all non- essential employees will be sent home for a period.

Not the best photo, my phone was in the shop, so I took it with Ipad. I made these. Now I’m making 7 more for friends, something I kept putting off. I guess we need crafts once our houses are disinfected.
Looking forward to warmer weather. Of course then people won’t have sleeves to catch their snot.
Nice work!!! This will make them happy!

Central Indiana here as well. We are on lockdown where I work. All employees and vendors must be screened before entering.

That’s really good to hear, the quicker EVERYONE goes on lockdown the better.

My niece is a nurse (and pregnant) and works at a hospital. She’s been asked if she can work 96 hour shifts!

My prayers for her and for all on the frontlines!! My prayers are for all of humanity right now, but those on the frontlines need a little extra!

Oh, my. From the article:

Administrative Judge Brendan Sheehan said earlier this week that inmates are already in poor health and it wouldn’t take much for the coronavirus to spread wildly behind bars.

Sheehan also said almost any kind of inmate was considered.

“You gotta remember, the goal of this is to protect the community and the safety of the inmates. If someone’s a serious violent person, well, we’re using our discretion to make sure the community’s safe also,” he said.

It's not a long road to go from casual violent to "serious violent". Stay safe, Ohio. Make sure your doors and windows are locked and windows fortified. Maybe join a neighborhood social media site.

Love to all.
Times are definitely changing fast and living in Ohio I am starting to get concerned for my families safety. I was supposed to get my CCW next week but the class has been canceled. I am glad my husband is highly trained due to him being retired US Military. The county I live in already has a increasing crime rate. I fear for our children everywhere.

You guys, Italy’s numbers are looking really bad. We need to focus on social distancing. This is really scary. I’m freaking out. I’ve been pretty scared since news came out of China, but I’m thinking Italy may be the first to report accurate figures.

Exactly. The numbers coming out of Italy make me question the numbers coming out of China.

I used to enjoy one of the morning shows as I straightened my hair & had coffee. Now, I can’t take the giddiness.
Anyone else?

Maybe my lysol spray can be used for more than one purpose?

releasing inmates really ensures community safety, huh? Omg
I know this will keep happening to protect staff, the risk of inmates infecting guards is huge.
Bigger question, with courts closed, will these people ever be found when judgement day comes? I doubt it. All moo
guessing most of these inmates are unemployed.....

Ugh, yeah, this brings in one more thing to worry about during already stressful times. Hopefully they are well screened to keep the violent where they need to be.

For me, it's late night shows - it's the silence of not having an audience that is unsettling. But I will keep watching to support these poor comedians trying their hardest to play to a silent room. As a teacher, I totally get it... :)

Opinion - The economic hit on the USA during this time is gonna be unreal........moo

Not just the USA, Cody. It'll be a worldwide disaster, financially.

Ooh what a good idea! I googled a recipe - smoky roasted eggplant hummus.
Thank you, @FrostOwl I wouldn’t have thought of that myself.

The cats are loving that mama is home as usual but looking at them rather than the laptop, so as soon as I can remove myself from the multi-cat pile-up that has formed on top of me, I’m off to put the oven on.

Blessings to all!

I am confined to working at home. I feel like I'm in a surreal world. I am thinking I should run to the grocery store one more time. Yesterday, I got cash just in case.

My son's work has a confirmed case.

I guess we just try to stay as normal as possible.

The bars & restaurants closing at 3pm today in my state.

Prayers to all.

Trading halted at NYSE for third time in about a week after market hits circuit-breaker

In the moments after opening, the Dow fell more than 2,000. Trading was halted for 15 minutes.

Should the Dow drop 13 percent of its opening total, trading will be halted for another 15 minutes. Trading will end for the day if the Dow falls 20 percent.
Oil and gold/silver are dropping big time this morning.....Cash is king right now.( that also means the ability to pay your credit card bills on time at the moment)......moo

It will happen in every state, imo. No one wants to work around inmates spitting and coughing at them. Moo
Not enough time to train new guards.

I'm an LPN and work in assisted living facility. No visitors allowed for at least 2 weeks. Our doors are locked and you have to ring the bell for someone to let you in. We take your temperature and ask about any symptoms. We had a moving company with 2 men come to deliver for a new resident and they refused to have their temperature taken. Needless to say we did not allow entrance. People around here are still in denial crying fake news.
