Who do the kids live with or which parent has an actual loss? Or split it, lol?
I wonder how that would work in my son's situation. He and his ex share custody. Last year she claimed both kids, this year he claimed them. That's their arrangement they take turns each year.

I'll bet whoever claimed them last year will get the check. If there are ever checks.

There's also an experimental antiviral drug under study, besides the two generic drugs being tested. There's a lot in the works behind the scenes that gives me hope.

Two generic drugs being tested in U.S. in race to find coronavirus treatments

"Pharmaceutical companies are also working to develop treatments for COVID-19, including Gilead Sciences Inc’s (GILD.O) experimental antiviral drug remdesivir, which is given to hospitalized patients via intravenous infusion over several days."

Police in Wuhan apologise to whistleblower’s family

Kerry Allen
BBC Monitoring, Chinese Media Analyst

Police in the Chinese city of Wuhan have apologised for punishing the doctor who tried to warn people about Covid-19 before perishing himself.

Back in December 2019, Dr Li Wenliang sent social media messages to his colleagues in Wuhan, warning of the mysterious viral illness.

He was subsequently interrogated by the police for “rumour-mongering” in early January, and made to sign a letter promising that he wouldn’t do this again or would face prosecution.

Today, the police retracted a letter they initially wrote criticising Dr Li and also apologised to Dr Li’s family.

In the letter, Dr Li was accused of "making false comments" that had "severely disturbed the social order".

Li Wenliang contracted the virus in January while treating his patients and passed away at the age of 34 in early February. His death sparked nationwide anger and led to criticisms that China's leadership had downplayed the severity of the virus - and initially tried to keep it secret.

Question:
Any of you socializing in small groups at home, respecting the distance guidelines?
I’m single & accustomed to being out & about. Staying home only bothers me during adverse weather, like today.

They spend 3 1/2 days at each house. If my son gets more because he claimed them this year, Mama will pressure him to split it with her. I'm sure he would though.

I see type O is high on the list. The problem is it’s the most common blood type, with IIRC, type A running a very close second. So statistically speaking, there should be more cases with those two blood types.

I think I recall reading somewhere that type AB for some reason may have a better immune system. I’d provide a link but no time at the moment. Maybe someone else could do so to verify this. TIA

I am AB- , I have MS and 2 less serious autoimmune disorders.

My grandma loved her electric washer, she found it perfect.
She first used the wringer washer once the laundry was clean, she let it go around in the electric model. Go figure.
If alive today, what would these women do?
My mom ironed everything too, but not so much after we finally got a dryer. Remember running outside to get the laundry hanging on the line when it started to rain?

I guess ironing was for sanitary reasons as well as neatness. I never thought of that.

I am so disappointed with Target.com's use of their Third Party - SHIPT. I've used them before for Same Day Delivery Service w/out a problem (or under the current circumstances here, perhaps 2-days or more), but I do so by paying 9.99 for each Same Day Delivery order, rather than $99./year for unlimited orders of $35. or more (free 4-wk trial).

I simply don't normally purchase enough from Target other than their Up&Up brands bc I find their prices are often on the high side compared to AMZ, etc., and I usually place large orders anyway so it's simply not worth it for me.

Yesterday, after calling Target.com for other issues placing my online order using SHIPT (during one of too many phone conversations), I noticed that my order was "FREE" and at the last second asked whether that was due to COVID19.

No, of course not, nor did I expect it to be. However, had I placed the order w/out noticing the "FREE" delivery, I would be finding the $99. fee on my Credit Card - who knows when down the line. Perhaps, even missing my deadline to cancel something I had never agreed to nor ordered in the first place nor was notified I was receiving!

And guess what else? They, both Target & their Third Party SHIPT are either unable or incapable of removing it from my online order. I usually say, don't cut off your nose to spite your face, but I can also be stubborn and dig my heels in out of principle.

I'm on my second day dealing w/ Target.com and SHIPT and just alerting you to be sure to check right before you complete your checkout for your online order using Target/SHIPT's Same Day Service that somehow you MAY be charged 99. bucks down the line for a service you never agreed to nor want nor ordered.

I'm driving on an interstate in this is illegal but I'm posting it for Gitana can somebody share it with her and others that were talking about Ace inhibitor drugs they were taking for their blood pressure please. It's very important I think. 30 minute interview with new information for everybody from doctor fauchi

I'm quite concerned about this. Both my hubby and I take ACE inhibitors. I am going to ask my doctor if I should consider switching medication for the duration of this threat.

I know what my mom and grandma would be doing right now - checking on neighbors, making sure the house was in tiptop shape in case they got sick so the family could still function, making meals in advance, finding activities to keep idle kids busy, setting money aside, etc.

I've seen those women in action and heard stories too. Great teachers, even though long gone.

I'm surprised my Hairstylist is still open. He and his Husband have a huge business. Hair salon, full service spa, home and clothing items all within a former Masonic Temple. I have an appt. Tuesday. I have a feeling it will be shut down by then. He has a strict policy that if someone else touches your hair "Then you and I are in for a bad breakup" I doubt that has changed. He has a closed Clientele and a long waiting list. So I guess I will have to look like a troll for a bit :D Small price to pay. At this point my Cities cases are travel related but I see many just listed as pending. Not worth it. Sorry Thomas and James I luv you both but........

My good friend Google found your salon. Looks like a really cool place :)
