Glad to meet another Jackson Browne fan! I love this song. I’m so glad he decided to release it...the day after he tested positive for COVID-19.

I am a huge Jackson Browne fan, too! I used to blast “The Pretender” album in my room as a teen.

You are correct in that Mississippi and LA border each other. Who knows what the “governor” is thinking. Oh, he is holding prayer on FB, which is great, but faith without works is dead.
Thanks! Just terrifying considering MG was not that long ago. I have friends that went.

NY/Cuomo:

40,000 people have signed up as a Surge HC Force!

And how are they going to screen and train? Timeframe? I would rather 4-5 weeks ago that 40,000-100,000 signed up to contact trace. That's just my moo.

Well, I am no expert, I will admit. I can only speak from personal experience, hence MOO, MOO, MOO :). A netti pot with distilled or boiled water that has been cooled has never failed to stop a sinus infection since we began flushing. I haven’t needed antibiotics in many, many years, when I used to suffer from them every time I got a cold virus. I also attribute this to the use of iodine, specifically Lugol’s solution (a drop in a 80z). To be clear, we use additional supplementation of other vitamins and minerals as well. If others don’t believe these things help, that’s o.k. I am only sharing my personal experience. I’ll MOO that again :)

I'm not really disagreeing with you about the benefit of the Neti Pot. It has been wonderful for me when the normal sinus and rhinorrhea stuff comes around.

But I thought the ID MD's comments about this and SARS-CoV-2 were interesting, and bothersomely counterintuitive

Our daughter in San Diego has been working from home because her very large company required it even before CA was ordered to stay at home. She’s rather annoyed at her husband’s boss who managed to get his company listed as “essential” because it does a bit of work for local government...work that could wait. Her husband has an official letter he keeps in his car in case he gets pulled over for being out and about. He works with just a few other guys and is constantly wiping down tools, but can’t really maintain the 6 feet social distance required. So, of course there’s a chance he can be exposed and bring it home...all because of a greedy, opportunistic employer. I wish she’d make an anonymous call to someone so it would get shut down. It’s not like they would starve if he is laid off! If I knew exactly where he works, I’d be a meddling mother-in-law and call myself!

Coronavirus wants to take all the life out of your lungs': Father-of-three pastor, 40, struck down struggles to breathe as he gives stark warning about not taking lockdown seriously

'This coronavirus is deadly and is dangerous. Coronavirus wants to kill you. It wants to take all the life out of your lungs so you can't even breathe.'

'I am grateful I am alive today. I want to thank the ICU staff in Ulster. Night and day 24/7. They have saved my life. The doctors and nurses I don't know what else to say I love you.'

New Orleans could be the Philadelphia of the 1918 Spanish Flu.

If every person would think of saving their own life, it’d help. Be selfish, decide “I want to live.” Then maybe more would stay home. Moo

You are exactly correct but that isn’t happening. It is awful.

For the life of me I can not imagine why anyone would attend? Sounds like the minister has a strong hold over his congregation. Moo.
And if it is like this, why is he not using it for something good, but putting them all on risk? Or he feels he is above all this?

Remember the Louisiana pastor who defied the governor's order not to hold gatherings larger than 50 people?

He held services again on Sunday, and he plans to do so yet again on Tuesday night

Spell has told CNN he believes the pandemic is "politically motivated."

SMH.... Maybe people didn't/ won't (it does not clarify if the Tuesday was yesterday or next Tuesday) show up, but who knows
Quoting my 86 year-old mother, “They haven’t invented anything to cure stupid.”

I did my home inventory today for paper products. Then wiped down the front door handle and the mailbox handle.
I did do a check on Amazon paper products availability, but will put off the order for the time being.

OT—Ha ha! We’re older than Jackson Browne and have been known to blast that and other albums in recent years! I think the time has come again! :D

This reminded me: The husband of a coworker of mine works for Waste Management. A few days ago I saw the truck go down my street. It was wintry weather, too cold for the second guy to ride hanging on the back of the truck like they sometimes do. I texted my coworker to report "the two guys in the WM truck are sitting each pressed up against their respective windows, as far apart as the truck cab allows" and she wrote back "that's not new, they do that because they don't want anyone to think they're a couple."

That’s a positive “twist” on being selfish. Not necessary for those that are selfless and do the right thing just because, it’s the right thing to do :). JMHO
