Sorry if already posted:
Nearly 3 dozen who attended church event test positive for coronavirus
(SNIP)
Nearly three dozen people who attended a recent children's event at a church in Arkansas have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to church officials.

Donald Shipp, a deacon at First Assembly of God church in Greers Ferry, about 75 miles north of Little Rock, told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that 34 people who attended the event in early March at the Cleburne County church had tested positive for the coronavirus, and that an unknown number of others were awaiting test results. In the main area hospital in my state which is one of the hardest hotspot areas for the virus... believe the first two cases happened because of two different funerals they attended at two different churches. Both patients died.

Our death rate continues to climb every day. It's up to 17, and about 150 are critically ill from the virus with hundreds waiting on test results.

This is the same hospital I was in recently for 8 days, and was only released 2 or 3 days before the first confirmed case here.

The city of Albany is about 90k population with 150k in total for Dougherty county, yet it is the second worst hit area in the state, iirc. Its even far beyond the larger towns, a counties around Atlanta.

One of our granddaughters is a radiology tech at a doctor's office in Albany, and we have many family members who are nurses or in the healthcare field here, and in our county of Lee.

She had a patient come in at the end of last week. She was the first to see him asking all the necessary coronavirus questions. He denied having any symptoms yet when he went in to see the doctor he told him he felt he had it, which he did. Ugh. So she had to be tested, and thank God her test results today were negative. But the man was so reckless since he could have spread it not only to her, but all of the staff in the doctor's office.

It's people like this that drives me bonkers, and the ones who refuse to socially distance themselves to protect not only themselves, but everyone they have come in contact with.

Our oldest daughter lives in Mexico Beach, Florida, and she said the mayor there refuses to close stores, and beaches so they have had so many from other states pouring into their area in the past few weeks. Many are from hard hit areas, and states too. :(

FLORIDA

NEW from @ScottWithersABC: Orange County Florida gov't has deemed all amusement parks - Disney, Universal, SeaWorld - non essential. Under the county’s new stay home order the parks can't open before April 9th. They all had originally announced plans to reopen end of March

"Neil Ferguson at Imperial College London gave evidence today to the UK’s parliamentary select committee on science and technology as part of an inquiry into the nation’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.

He said that expected increases in National Health Service capacity and ongoing restrictions to people’s movements make him “reasonably confident” the health service can cope when the predicted peak of the epidemic arrives in two or three weeks. UK deaths from the disease are now unlikely to exceed 20,000, he said, and could be much lower."

EXACTLY

While other states were cancelling mass events, Mardi Gras was allowed to occur.

Florida did not cancel Bike Week in Daytona Beach from March 6-15.

My mom just told me a few minutes ago that 4 cases have been moved to Valdosta because they ran out of beds in Albany.

Dougherty County has 50 ICU beds and 74 ventilators.

Lowndes County, where they moved to, only has 48 ICU beds and 23 ventilators. There are many counties that have 0 of each. This will max out eventually.

The sad part, is that in several months we will look back and say "if only...."
