Amazon has Platinum brand for about $5 for 3 packages. If you can wait until April 19. I guess lots of people are planning to make their own bread.
I'll make cake and pretend it is bread.

Just curious........ I haven't heard "lines at banks" too much so far.. Is this to get some cash in the pockets, or is this that "Western distrust of Government" thing?? Ignorant East coaster asking...
I don't know. Maybe it is older folks, who are paying people cash for errands. Or?
Expatriating is a word.Haha Yes, I have often thought about expatriating (is that a word)
Can you stay out of the public now, or must you venture out?My county is up to 557, more than most States.

IMO It's shameful that state Governors are having to wheel and deal to get supplies. It seems to me that distribution of critical supplies should be based on population. California has 93,512,223 people vs Wyoming's 578,759. We ALL need ventilators but clearly the need is different state to state. He needs to put out bids and/or beg corporations in his state to help, as other states are being outbid by each other. Too bad we do not have federal oversight, besides, the government believes the governors are lying about their figures/needs.
Dying from pneumonia is drowning on your own fluids. You’re gasping for breath and unable to breathe as your organs shut down. It’s probably one of the most painful and horrific ways to die.
Are you sure Mexico is much safer??? The policemen carrying huge guns scared me. I do like Mexico but the huge guns scared me.I think I'll just expatriate a two-hour drive south where life is much safer these days..... Mexico.

Which is why my husband has a DNR paper, with every option written out. If he gets to that point, we are calling a palliative care nurse. I already spoke with her, last week. She will come to our home, no test needed, no doctor appointment. She will do an assessment, and request an order for morphine, so he won't struggle to breathe.
It is an option more people should discuss.
You betcha! Even a short walk can tamp down the stress level IMO.I had a couple hours in the saddle. I urge all of you to get outside for a walk, or your preference, if you can. The sunshine & fresh air do amazing good things for anxiety, I think. I wish I could keep on riding and just leave. But where would/could I go?
So the companies who make the ventilators are holding out on sales until the bids get high enough. He needs to put out bids and/or beg corporations in his state to help, as other states are being outbid by each other. It's overcast today here in my town but I went to the local park for a little while just to get out. Again, people are walking and playing with their dogs and keeping a safe distance from others. On my way home I saw a group of 4 people chatting on a side street - they were about 10 feet apart but seemed to be having a good time anyway.
