The high school football player’s father, Kevin Moran, insisted to the Advocate that the exact cause of death was still unclear.

“It was heart failure,” Moran said, adding, “People don’t want to let you heal … I’m so upset.”

He admitted his son had “not been ill” in the days leading up to his death before he became unresponsive and was taken to a hospital, where he died Sunday, the Advocate said. It was not clear from the report when the teen had been tested for the killer bug.

The media really wants everyone to be scared. I guess to keep people reading and clicking. I'm actually confused by their motives.

West Texas Report - I am home from having to buy new tires and getting an oil change. In normal times those two things would take 4-5 hours because of busy businesses. It took me an hour and 18 minutes. That is how bad the new oil/gas economy and the Virus are hurting businesses out here in the Oil Patch....... Everyone was practicing safe distancing except two people I saw.Only one mask and gloves being worn seen.......Stay safe and prepared to the best of your abilities, folks.....moo

Checkin in..... we had to leave our house late last night because our English Chocolate lab got sick. Vets are making everyone stay in their car. Its drive up service. Felt really weird after a mth to be out of the house. So many sick animals and they are seeing an increase of sick dogs and some vets think its related to what's going on with humans at the moment. Fortunately, our furbaby will be ok and has medicine now .

@SeattleStew can your DS get tested? He meets criteria, correct? So sorry, best of luck.
Personally, I think we are all exposed, if we are still breathing. Moo

Thank you, Trudie, and all you sweet peas that read my post. DS sent a message to his doctor when we found out yesterday afternoon, and are awaiting his reply. We would all feel better knowing one way or another, that's for sure. The unknown can be so frightening. Y'all mean so much to me! I never thought WS would be a place to share my personal life, but here we are!

Hungary announces two-week lockdown

Hungary has become the latest country to announce a two-week lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19. Prime Minister Viktor Orban said via public radio that while citizens must maintain social distancing, they would be able to go to work, shop and take limited exercise outdoors, starting Saturday. Orban said people can still go outside, but they cannot be in a group. Hungarian police will enforce compliance with the rules and apply fines, if needed.

Coronavirus live updates: UK's Boris Johnson tests positive, mall staple retailers announce massive furloughs

We have close friends in Hungary, they are from Beijing, many young Chinese families have moved to Hungary as the cost of housing is much lower than in Chinese cities. The Hungarian government has been recruiting Chinese citizens to settle in Hungary over a few years now. Our friends are the parents of the young couple from Beijing that took Hungary up on their offer and have settled there. They travel back and forth from Beijing to Budapest regularly to visit and spend time with their grandchildren.

Officials initially had said he died of coronavirus but later said more tests were needed.

It’s possible the boy had coronavirus but that it was not the cause of death.

Question:

is this ultra frightening for those of you living in high rise/multi family buildings? I consider myself blessed to be surrounded by hundreds of acres in the front & back &
many acres on either side. I know when I open my door no one has sneezed or coughed or touched my area.

Iron Man 2 actor arrested over alleged coronavirus treatment fraud

Actor Keith Middlebrook, who had a role in Marvel's 2010 film Iron Man 2, has been arrested by the FBI and charged with fraud for allegedly seeking investments in his company, which he claimed would be used to mass produce pills that could prevent people from contracting the coronavirus.

He said the investments would also help produce an injectable medicine capable of totally curing the COVID-19 disease in a matter of days. A complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on one count of attempted wire fraud, ultimately leading to Middlebrook's arrest.

Though work on both has been ramped-up significantly, there are currently no medicines approved to treat COVID-19, and a proven, effective vaccine is not expected for at least a year.

I'm sorry friend....he missed the opportunity to stop it. He probably knows the err of his ways now. Mardi Gra was the err.....

Many states fall into this category. Governors coming out with heroic response, when they could have contained with lockdown earlier.

Virginia is going to lead the country in do nothing. Our state government is now only responding on MWF with little information other than "were waiting on the feds". State Sentors and House reps are radio silent, not returning any phone calls. This week Northam closed Trumps campaign headquarters, I guess that puts us on the bottom of the list for any federal help. Our Governor is a pediatrician!!! Never in a million years would I have dreamed of a do nothing response.

A lot of the deceased died after contracting Covid, after the virus accentuated underlying probs, but they did not die from underlying prob prior to contracting Covid, moo.

So some of them died from underlying problems and not covid-19 despite having covid-19?
