He owns a very large apartment complex, this is for his commercial policy, lol.
Sheesh! I get it now, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for clarifying. :)

Lowe's (Home Improvement) and Wal-Mart have looked perpetually like Christmas Eve for weeks. I have not darkened the door of Wal-Mart. I fear when these stimulus checks come, many will spend them at Wal-Mart instead of using them for rent/bills. Did you hear the reporter at the WH press conference ask what are people supposed to do with the stimulus checks? I wanted to say, DUH!! pay bills...........
Lol, yes, what a ridiculous question. Many in KY & WV will buy opioids, I’m sure they can’t wait.
Idk what will happen with Lowe’s but Gov’ will speak with them tomorrow. Their lot is always full, at my local store.
Actually busier than the grocery, I suppose due to the grocery being sold out. People are livid about the number of children in the stores. Rumor has it the garden center is really bad, idk. The gov’ stresses “responsible shopping”, I think we know what he means. Also he reminds us shopping is not “social hour”, but he’s wrong....

I get dressed, make my bed, still no make-up, still air dry my hair but I am putting perfume on. I look horrible but smell good !!!
I try to apply essential oils for emotional reasons, different smells have supposedly different triggers to desired effects. - to relax, to invigorate, to encourage.... I'm particularly fond of "Calm" at the moment.

I suppose they also help me smell good too.

I'm very glad you didn't have that double burden either. You sound like an amazing person. Probably a lot like your dad. I too am glad you didn't have that extra worry.

Thank you. It was extremely stressful to sell the 4 plexes. It was a hobby for my dad. My brother and dad built them. They hired help but they also put blood , sweat and tears into
the apartments. The apartments were well maintained but my dad had a huge soft heart for the tenants. They paid very little. Both my parents got sick around the same time and the apartments had to go.I was having to hold down a full time job, deal with their house, deal with the apartments and make sure my parents had the proper care. My brother lives in FL and there was only so much that he could do. It was an emotional experience to sell them but my parents' needed care money. I hated dealing with the tenants each month begging for the rent. I am glad I got them sold and they sold quickly.

ETA, sorry to get so off topic.

The complex is huge, so his liability is huge. He’s a successful biz man, or has been thus far, so he’s insured to the max for self protection.

Sold out of a similar situation, similar insurance bill. Insurance likely won't give any breaks because much like the risk to landlords giving tenants a break, landlords could see an opportunity to dump a mess on insurance. Crappy situation all around, if I was still in it, I'd be stressed. Courts will almost always rule in a tenants favor in situations like this even if they're clearly taking advantage of the situation. If you have a complex, and cutting close to break even each month, I'd think you're gonna be screwed. If you have a few condos or single family homes and like your tenants then you'll probably be fine and hailed as a saint.

I mentioned the same thing about Walmart when I went there on Friday. Gosh, it was a mad house and the store was ransacked.

This made me laugh, it’s a poll conducted by our local ABC affiliate a couple days ago. Math is hard.
If I had a choice where to hunker down now it would be on Nantucket. MOO.

I was watching the Grand Ole Opry, with Vince Gill, Marty Stuart and Brad Paisley playing to an empty auditorium. I don't usually listen to much C&W, but will always listen to Vince Gill. They're doing a lot of old classics, songs my mom used to listen to while cooking and cleaning house.

I'll check out this one, too. Love Dave Grohl.

I've decided the only clothes I really need to launder or keep are the ones I can wear for work-at-home and at actual work. I'll be wearing pajamas (black capris) to work. I promise I'll wear a shirt as well. Of some kind.

If anyone has any ideas about how to lose self-consciousness and embrace Zoom, it would be much appreciated.
Every Sunday evening, my Yoga studio offers a free live yoga and deep meditation class, via Zoom - which is a new social format for me. This is the closest I can get to losing self-consciousness, complete with candle, soft music, low lighting and one cat.

Ha! The locals are none too happy about that.

They are typically insulated from tourism during the winter months, which would also mean that they would be at a lower risk of this thing spreading there.

Unfortunately, that’s where the wealthy are fleeing, especially people from New York.

The bigger problem is their hospitals aren’t equipped for an emergency like this.

I've worked thru Zoom daily for two years now and the key is to turn off your video and claim you're working from a desktop that has no webcam.

“Shawn Marshall Myers, a 41-year-old registered sex offender who was also indicted as a murder accomplice, was arrested after twice violating Gov. Larry Hogan’s order against gatherings of more than 10 people, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release
The reason he was in jail was because he refused to follow the law. Letting people out of jail is irresponsible.

Oh and Health Unit said if any symptoms present just call them and they will arrange for a test.

They say this person last worked March 15th. Seems like the 14 day period is over? So at least that is good.
@jjenny what pisses me off is Gov’ then closes dine in restaurants, but he does not mention why. Imo, no one cares about her name but if she waited on them, they do care. Again, thank goodness for word of mouth, because we know what we know. There’s no way she could name her contact list. Maybe a few of the regulars, that’s it. Also, the nearby horse park guests get most of their meals at Josie’s, as in “to go”, so she prob’ bagged their food, collected their money, etc. I’ll look at their inspection report, the place has never been known for its cleanliness....if you know what I mean.

I hate makeup and always air dry my hair. So getting dressed is a huge improvement lol

I love makeup, but always hair dry my hair.

Trying to prove the makeup is "just for me" but...slowly...I'm just sort of avoiding the mirror.
