To those who have posted about not feeling well, being possibly exposed, or have tested positive, please let us know how you’re doing physically and mentally.

Hello Margarita, day 14 for me over here in rural England. Feeling very much better other than some lingering fatigue and achy legs. My son (early 20's) is around day 6 and so far taking it in his stride far better than I did *touch wood*! We have been fortunate to manage it at home with plenty of rest and paracetamol. Also vit C.

If it may reassure people to know, I am in my early 50's with some regular minor health issues including blood pressure (one med I take is Losartan), cholesterol and low vit D. Son has no underlying issues.

One thing about the lockdown, if you do become unwell you dont have to worry about the usual guilty feeling about missing work, or hurrying back! You do have all the time in the world to recuperate in peace.

(((( CCC ))) Hang in there, with us. We have each other and what an awesome support group this is. Take a deep breath and try (easier to say than do) to not think of the "what if" Try to find some date in the future (holiday, personal holiday, etc) and envision how you will celebrate.
I've told my girls, be prepared, next Christmas may be tuna melts and stockings full of PPE (I'm really stocked on some things! Other things, not so much) Their responses? We don't care! I believe this is one of those life lessons that is going to totally humble us everyone and we'll be so thankful for the love of family and friends and just the basics once this is over.
I say this realizing that it will take a miracle for me to not personally lose some of my family, I don't even bother to try to talk reason to them any longer. I just listen and love them. I can't change anyone else's behavior or belief. I tried, didn't work. My responsibility at present is to take care of myself, so I may take care of them if needed once this is over.

Russia records largest single-day rise in coronavirus cases

Officials said they had identified 771 new cases of coronavirus in the past day, a 28% from the previous day that brings the country’s total number of infected to 3,548. Nearly 600 of the new cases were in Moscow, which has been the Russian city hit hardest by the crisis, with 2,475 confirmed cases. So far, 30 people have died due to the virus, official statistics report.

Chinese county with over half a million people goes into NEW LOCKDOWN to prevent a fresh coronavirus crisis after detecting three patients with no symptoms

The county of Jia in Henan Province, with about 570,000 residents, has halted transport in and out of the area as well as local buses and taxis from Monday, according to a government notice.

Regional officials have ordered all villages, towns and residential complexes to activate their 'wartime mechanism' amid fears for a fresh outbreak, reads another notice.

China reported six new coronavirus deaths as of the end of Wednesday, according to Reuters.

Wednesday’s death toll was the same number as on Tuesday.

China had 35 new coronavirus cases on April 1, all of which were imported, the National Health Commission said on Thursday.

Spain has reported that the death toll from COVID-19 has risen by 950 in the past 24 hours, with the total reaching 10,003. The eurozone's fourth-largest economy has confirmed a total of 110,238 infections.

The country is under nationwide lockdown since the middle of March and it has tightened restrictions on March 30.

I’m all caught up again, after my no-good horrid bad day yesterday.
Good morning everyone from a sunny-bright and cold morning in London.
First of all, holding good thoughts for @Snoods and your little princess at the vet today. I hope all goes well.
I just had a text from our vet’s clinic, to say they are now offering video and phone consults. This seems such a great idea and a godsend for those animals (and owners) who are incredibly stressed by any change to routine.
Meanwhile, today I am grateful for the marvel that is my coffee machine. Perfect coffee at the touch of a button. Anyone like a mug?

I do plan on going to the grocery today. In full gear.
I’m frightened anyway. My hubs keeps offering to go instead, but, I trust myself more on preparations for the long haul. Also, I am a bit more diligent with washing and touching things.

Dr. Jacob Glanville's team took antibodies used to neutralize SARS and used technology in their lab to adapt them to recognize COVID-19.

"We are happy to announce we have completed the engineering and we have some very potent antibodies that can be effective against the virus," said Dr. Glanville.

On Wednesday, during the daily White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing, Dr. Fauci was asked about Dr. Jacob Glanville’s work with antibodies, and said he supports the concept of monoclonal antibodies.

I used to enjoy shopping for groceries. I've been shopping at the same store for years and always ran into neighbors and friends. I know I spent more time visiting with people than actually shopping for groceries. And now? I dread getting on my mask and gloves and going to the store but I need fresh fruit and vegetables and you can't stock pile that stuff. I just want to get in and out of there as fast as possible. I doubt anyone recognizes people they've known for years as everyone is wearing masks. Life has become the twilight zone.
