Well my otherwise good day just got not so good: my husband and I are eating dinner, almost done with dinner, when he sneezes right in my face and over the food ( sorry i know it is gross): fortunately i was done with dinner. When he sneezes he just kinda loses it- no warning-- i am pissed even though i don't think he could have done anything about it. when i sneeze i get warning and i try hard not to sneeze in anybody's face or on things. if i sneeze in my hands i wash them immediately. So now i am freaking out. If he is an asymptomatic carrier, i am in trouble. I don't think he has the virus cause if he did we would most likely both be sick long ago. I am scared though. I remember being in a doctor's office a few years ago: I walked by a patient in the waiting room who sneezed right on me as i walked by: i got sick the very next night (a bad cold)- grrrrr

Heroes of the coronavirus pandemic

Since the beginning of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, doctors, nurses and paramedics have been working round the clock while risking their lives, along with many unsung heroes such as the grocery store workers, truck drivers and workers in the sanitation department. As these people and other volunteers continue to help and serve others, let's take a look at some pictures showcasing their efforts during this global crisis.

I think the shortage is world wide. For better or for worse, human nature is going to go full steam ahead:

- We need PPE urgently.
- We can afford to pay more than "A", "B", "C"
- So, we are going to ensure that we get PE before anybody else does.
- Anybody who outbids us in our global hunt for supplies is a "pirate".

It does not matter "we" is. "We" could be the USA, Canada, Germany or UAE. Likewise, "we" could be Bangladesh if they had the money.
PPE is the new gold standard.

I now have a great cloth mask, wonderfully crafted and sewn; it's black and I look ready to hold up stagecoaches.

My day was already stressful going to Walmart. After spending last weekend cleaning my house, doing laundry, pup walks and car rides, going to Publix and Walmart this week and working 45 hours, my spouse tells me that I am lazy and do not know how to clean. I am stressed and I want to cry a river but I hate crying.

Glad I bought some cheap wine at Walmart, Time to go drown my sorrows.

It only took me 2 min to start getting redness on my neck!
I think it's a panic attack and I need practice.
I had to wear a mask for while being present for a 6 hour surgery in nursing school.
I handled the 3 hour one fine!
6 was too long and I freak out whenever I have to wear one now.
How silly!!!
This bandana was not uncomfortable at all!
& it's hot pink!!!

You don't deserve that. I'm sorry. BTW - I used to hate crying, then I realized it really is cleansing, ultimately, and brings some clarity. It's worth trying before the cheap wine.

Just getting caught up. What we, the US, did there was wrong. I’m sorry we can be such a-holes. :(

ETA - I now see it wasn’t our actual government, but I’ll leave this up anyway.

The ink on NAFTA is still wet. If the US can't abide by the agreement, that's a serious problem.
