I couldn't agree more!!Yeah, awful how journalists and whistleblowers are treated......
thank you - I hope this is seriously investigated.A particularly troubling finding in the AP investigation is that many of the highest beneficiaries not only shouldn’t have applied for the aid because of their size, but they weren’t victims of the coronavirus at all. For example, about a quarter of the 75 public companies identified in the report warned their investors about internal financial issues months before the coronavirus outbreak. Five of the eight companies receiving $10 million had been under government investigations in the past.

No problem. I don't have cats, only dogs and equine. Just wanted to pass the details of this product or any similar onto the forum. Especially if other products are becoming scarce. I already had this and it must be years old but I would also be able to get it from my vet if it runs out in stores. No, I didn’t think anyone would apply it to the eyes. It’s usually about people not realizing how well they need to rinse it off their hands because we now know just how often we touch our face and eyes,
Truly, tresir, I was not trying to be argumentative. I just wanted to note for others that extreme care should be used with this product. I can guarantee you that if someone next posts about essential oils, I am going to pipe up to be sure they know how dangerous those are if you have cats.
I am just one of those very safety-minded people who cannot help but to tell others if I know about specific dangers of products. And because I actually use this, my doctors made me aware of those dangers.
I don't see any problem with any of this. They are loans after all.
It's probably to late for you to delete but could you remove the bit in my post about bleach ingredients? I got that wrong. I have edited and removed that sentence but then realised my post had gone thru twice and the original you quoted is still wrong. No, I didn’t think anyone would apply it to the eyes. Yes, and if you do have pets, sterile saline that comes in a squirt bottle is helpful for flushing and it’s also super convenient for us. I keep a bottle on each floor in case of eye injury. I’ve had to use it twice in the last few years - once for being an idiot and getting poison in my eye, and once for being an idiot and getting an embarrassing eye injury. No problem. And TBH all cleaning products, especially bleach, are dangerous so it may be a good time to gen up on first aid procedures anyway. Having a small eye bath in the house is extremely useful I have found, just to flush out the eyes with water. With kids and more of us at home this is all useful info.

Got a laugh at this. Similar happened at a BMX track that our council closed several years ago. Then the dirt bikes showed up to use it. My theory is the bmxers got their older brothers involved after they lost their track.Dirt bikes now at California skate park that was covered up with sand to discourage use. Never underestimate the ingenuity of the American people...

Even better. So the businesses aren't benefitting so much rather than the employees. UK is paying 80% of all furloughed employees wages so that is a similar benefit. Corporation and income tax will likely be increased next year to recoup it anyway. If you use 75 % of the loan for payroll, the loan is forgiven.
The problem I have is there were limits such as maximum number of employees, applying for 2 1/2 times of monthly payroll, etc. It appears to me, IMO, their bankers worked with them to sidestep the requirements and they gobbled up huge chunks of money first and then the smaller businesses who had to gather all the documents required tried to submit and they were shut down. A friend who owns a small business that had to shut completely (not essential) applied the first morning of the program and didn't get it - they were told the money was gone already. So something went on IMOI don't see any problem with any of this. They are loans after all.
By the time I figured out what you were talking about my post was 59 minutes old. Shocking, but I managed to edit just before the 60 minute cut-off.It's probably to late for you to delete but could you remove the bit in my post about bleach ingredients? I got that wrong. I looked at one of the largest on that list (a $15 million loan) and this is the restaurant chain J.Alexanders. Most of their restaurants are now doing take outs only, which the majority on here want to support but you don't support them having a loan to continue, which I find strange.![]()
Here are the largest public companies taking payroll loans meant for small businesses
- it's really shameful behavior IMO
I added these to the CARES thread with the other links.
Ha ha. TY.By the time I figured out what you were talking about my post was 59 minutes old. Shocking, but I managed to edit just before the 60 minute cut-off.
$15 million is certainly not a small business loan so weren't there limits? It's a small business loan is the problem. Ruth Chris is a crazy expensive steakhouse chain. Harvard speaks for itself. Jmo
LOL!! I've been taking one for the team too at least once a week. I thought it was "Take Out Wednesday" so I will be sacrificing some of my government money and ordering in Chinese for supper today. I'm just doing my part, stimulating the economy you know.![]()
