So you don't believe in Hydroxy or modelling, what about Actemra that cured Dr. Fiske seemingly miraculously? Is that any good do you think? What about the HIV meds and Remdesivir? Ventilators or CPAP? Zinc plus vitamins etc etc. Proning. All of the above.
I'll take one vaccine with a side of vit D and melatonin to go, please.:p

So she managed to keep impeccable record, but didn't figure out she shouldn't be working with symptoms? How are we going to stop the epidemic when people who have symptoms continue to go out in public and work?

this is the kind of crap I'm afraid of
and after today's grocery pickup, I'm even more worried
one person out of hundreds I saw in line-ups - ONE person was wearing a mask!
unreal

Baffled they're no wearing masks. We won't let anyone in without a mask.

Nope. Masks weren't mentioned or made available. And no one was giving the stink eye to anyone else. Plus, the patio was pretty full, and the chairs in the waiting area right outside the front door were still right on top of each other. My dd hesitated to take one that was right next to (in easy touching distance) a woman in her 50's, but the woman didn't even glance up from her phone when dd sat down.

Other than the DJ and some of the staff wearing masks, it was like nothing ever happened. Which, here, it really didn't.

eta: and, as you can see, it was all ages. There was even a family with a baby and two little girls under 5. You can see the stroller wheels in the upper left of the photo with the little boy in it.

In North Dakota on Friday, the Republican governor, Doug Burgum, decried a “senseless dividing line” between US citizens over whether masks should be worn in public during the coronavirus pandemic.

 No masks allowed: stores turn customers away in US culture war

Oh, Good: These Stores Put Up Signs Saying No Face Masks Are Allowed

Alvin's, a Kentucky convenience store, says if you're mad about its 'No Face Masks' sign, you're the one who just doesn't get it.

In the last few weeks a spate of American stores have made headlines after putting up signs telling customers who wear masks they will be denied entry. On Thursday, Vice reported on a Kentucky convenience store that put up a sign reading: “NO Face Masks allowed in store. Lower your mask or go somewhere else. Stop listening to [Kentucky governor Andy] Beshear, he’s a dumbass.”

Nice that the author at the Guardian puts the word freedom in sneer quotes. Lol

IMO any business that wont allow masks to be worn does not care about me or their employees. So my business will go to those who do.

Why would anyone want to do business with a store that insults you before you ever open the door? I wouldn't.

Immune clue sparks coronavirus treatment hope
UK scientists are to begin testing a treatment that it is hoped could counter the effects of Covid-19 in the most seriously ill patients.

It has been found those with the most severe form of the disease have extremely low numbers of an immune cell called a T-cell.

T-cells clear infection from the body.

The clinical trial will evaluate if a drug called interleukin 7, known to boost T-cell numbers, can aid patients' recovery.

Details at link.
IL-7 is not a drug. I hate the media.

That's okay. I'll just give my money to the business down the street. Easy-peasy. Who's the dumbass now?

It really is great publicity. Now we know who we wont give our business to. I feel for the Employees.

Obviously, our customers don't wear masks when eating. But before being brought their food, and if waiting in line, they have to wear masks.
We didn't make the rules.
We're just trying to stay out of troubles.

How can you wear a mask to eat in the restaurant?

A restaurant in Bangkok created plastic partitions and moved its tables farther apart to separate guests in a normally tight space.

Isn't it a cytokine?
Yeah. I'll have to look into this a little more because I'm somewhat bemused by the logic. Covid patients are presenting with lymphopenia and severity of disease seems to be positively correlated to the degree of lymphopenia. It seems to make sense to use IL-7 to increase hematopoiesis of T-cells, but the body increases IL-7 automatically in the presence of lymphopenia anyway. I'm also not entirely certain it's a great idea to dump cytokines into a patient who is already in cytokine storm. Maybe they're thinking of using it in the very early stages of illness?

I don't know. The outcome of the trial will be an interesting one to watch.

It will be interesting. I'm trying to find the logic as well.
