LATEST: Dr. Sean Conley, physician to the president, said over the course of exhibiting coronavirus symptoms, President Trump has experienced two episodes of "transient drops" in his oxygen saturation.

After Dr. Conley said yesterday Trump was in great shape, chief of staff Mark Meadows said that Trump’s vitals were “concerning.” Pressed on the inconsistent statements, Conley says that Meadows was referring to a “very transient limited episode.”

I don't think we know enough about the virus to know if you can get it again. In fact I have read of people who did get the virus again- at least that is what the thinking was by physicians. So bottom line, just because a person had it once, i think it would be kind of foolish to think you can't get it again and I think they should wear a mask. Information on this virus keeps changing because it is so new: Caution should be the word of the day with this virus.

this is why I stay curious about the supreme court candidate at the rose garden event. She and her husband have had covid, but have her kids? I am sure we will see more cases. Most worried about Chris Christie at this point....

So, one story says he could go back to the WH on Monday. Yes? No?

Yes, that is what I would be surprised with as the remdisivir treatment is for 5 days.. so that would be through Tuesday if it started on Friday.

That seems impossible to me. His course of treatment is suppose to be 5 days under careful supervision. Me thinks the Dr. is being told what to say. IMO if your not going to be transparent then dont give us anything. I'm just jumping off your post with my opine.

There's no way we are ever going to know who contracted the virus and spread it to the President or to the people associated with him. It's not possible.

IIRC, someone here stated that the children were sitting next to Melania in the front row in the Rose Garden, but unless they were in the ante room before and after with her parents, perhaps all was done there and the children were never near the adults at that time?

That said... we may never hear in MSM about family members.. yet we did for "anonymous" family member of the Rep Comm that day who was associated with perhaps #1 person of concern?

True, just like most didn't know at the time JFK had Addison disease or a serious degenerative spinal condition.

I totally understand why somethings are kept confidential when it comes to our presidents.

Since PT is a very transparent president. I believe this is why they came out to say his vitals were poor on Friday, and he's greatly improved since then. I pray it continues. PT did not want to keep this information hidden from the American people like other presidents have done in the past.

Good questions. I too worry about Chris Christie with obesity and asthma---

Now this is downright infuriating. Come on Administration--this is one time to show Americans what all Medical agencies have indicated is highly critical to control Covid spikes. They could really show some leadership here..................

The $250,000 Repub donors at Bedminster has resulted in a "freaking out" group trying to get to the White House. All the meetings that Ronna had with groups around the country, families of all the workers..

?

They were also in the Oval Office and the Diplomatic room. One of the boys took pics with Tillis.

I need to double check my link but I read he can continue treatment at the WH. I'll edit with link in a jiffy (or two).

"He has been up and around. Our plan today is to have him eat and drink, be up out of bed," Garibaldi said. "f he continues to look and feel as well as he does today our hope is to plan for a discharge as early as tomorrow to the white house where he can continue his treatment course."

When we visit with recovered Covid friends, we're outdoors, still stay 6 feet apart but do not mask. I still wouldn't be comfortable visiting indoors with them yet.

Why no mask?

After the ceremony in the garden, there were two receptions in smallish rooms in the White House (not a big ballroom). I can't remember the names of the rooms - but it can be found in early reporting. There are pictures. Lots of people without masks (I believe that's where Kelly Conway kissed Barr/whispered in his ear.

As to the children, presumably they were near adults at all times, as they are too young to be unsupervised. Unless you simply mean "not near the adults who got CoVid."

Fact is, we don't know how many people got CoVid at that event. The distance that Chris Christie maintained from the other known infectees was a good long distance.

Doug Mills of the New York Times took the indoor pictures. They started out socially distanced more or less (4 feet apart maybe?) but without masks. One kid is sitting immediately next to Tillis, with their faces 1 foot apart, chatting.

Many pictures show adults with their faces 1-2 feet apart, chatting. These events went on for at least an hour, maybe more.

I just wanted to add these observations because while many people think the transmission happened in the actual Rose Garden, I believe strongly that it occurred at the two indoor receptions afterward.

Our chances of getting CoVid in a setting like the Rose Garden are about 10-20X less than indoors (usually 20X if socially distanced - but they were fairly close to each other). Hard to know who spread to whom, but the VIP's were apparently all in one room for the after-party.

There are pictures of the children in a room with their family, Trump, Melania and a few others who tested positive. It appeared to be a photo op and meet and greet room.

No one in any of the pictures has a mask on.

....... experts say the more risky time spent that day was at a reception inside the White House, where President Trump met with a smaller group of guests.
