The CDC's interactive map tracks vaccine allocation and distribution across the US.

Now, the tracker lists the following details for each state: total doses distributed, total doses distributed per 100,000 people, and the number of people who have received their first dose.

It also includes information on how many doses have been distributed and allocated in total, as well as how many doses have been distributed to and administered in long-term care facilities. You can access the map here.

Thank you for that link. It helps explain (at least partially) why no one has answers for me about when my elderly mother can get her shot--Kansas appears to have gotten the fewest vaccines per population of any state. /sigh

COVID outbreak: Dozens of San Jose Kaiser employees test positive

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — A COVID-19 outbreak was reported at a South Bay hospital that infected dozens of employees.

43 staff members at the Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center Emergency Department tested positive for COVID-19 between Dec. 27 and Jan. 1, senior vice president and area manager Irene Chavez confirmed Saturday.

The outbreak is being investigated and officials are using contact tracing to notify and test any staff or patients who were exposed during the time period.

Officials are looking into a staff member arriving into the emergency department wearing an air”-powered costume on Christmas Day. They say any exposure would have been accidental as the person had no COVID symptoms.

“The individual had no COVID symptoms and only sought to lift the spirits of those around them during what is a very stressful time. If anything, this should serve as a very real reminder that the virus is widespread, and often without symptoms, and we must all be vigilant,” Chavez said in a statement.

Although unconfirmed, Chavez says air-powered costumers will no longer be allowed at the facilities.

Emergency Department staff who received a first dose of the vaccine less than 10 days ago would not be expected to be immune to the virus at the time of the exposure.

Health officials say it is important to note that you must receive the two doses of the vaccine to be protected.

Employees confirmed or suspected to have COVID-19 will not report to work.

I can think of 1,000 witty things to say about this, if it weren't so tragically sad & pathetic. Who here among us on this thread would have thought this was an intelligent idea for a hospital during California's worst period of the pandemic, let alone ANY time during the pandemic?

I only wonder if Ms Chavez will get a promotion for this.

Words I never would have thought could all be uttered in the same sentence: Covid-19, Hospital, Air-Powered Costumers.
Was this a staff member that was coming in to work or just to visit?

I spoke to several people at the ER recently and they didn’t want donuts, cookies, etc.
They want a good 15 minute rest from the relentless Covid cases.

It is as if someone "wanted" to spread Covid...so impossibly stupid I can't even wrap my head around it. Walking around a hospital, with a fan, literally blowing out Covid particles with every breath.

Wondering how and why?
Are we to cross into other states hoping for better distribution?
Not enough ordered or not received yet?
I have too many questions!! Ugh, Kansas

What it tells me is that they're talking amongst themselves, and they've been doing so since the virus arrived. I'm reminded again of the fake vaccination of the nurse that was discovered.

But, it's more widespread than that -- the distrust of government in the US is now causing minorities to reconsider getting the vaccine. And, sadly, minority communities are among the hardest hit by the virus.

Members of Congress are sending mixed messages about taking the vaccine.

Spain is creating a list of everyone who refuses to take the vaccine and is threatening to share it with other nations. It's probably a bad idea to advertise that as it will make the skeptical even more skeptical.

In Ohio, fully 60% of nursing home workers refused the vaccine.

I have to wonder how it will go when inmates start being vaccinated? While some jobs may be able to require vaccination, with Title VII exceptions, it will be virtually impossible to vaccinate an inmate who doesn't want to be vaccinated due to the medical rights they're afforded.

We've had poor messaging about the virus from day one, and we can't go back and correct it n0w. Only time will tell if Biden/Harris messaging will convince the currently unconvinced.

Meanwhile, no one can give me any sort of timeline when my elderly mother will get a chance to be vaccinated. Lovely.

Does your state have the vaccination schedule on the website of its Department of Health? Here in Ohio, the priority schedule and order of vaccination is spelled out on the Ohio Department of Health website. Right now we are in phase 1A of the vaccination roll out, with health care workers and elderly who live in congregant settings (nursing homes, long term care residences, etc.) and also public safety officers and EMS. In phase 1B, all Ohioans over 65, as well as K-12 employees (staff and teachers) and certain other groups are eligible for the vaccine. The Governor last week announced that they don't have a firm date yet for 1B, but it is anticipated that the vaccine will be available for 1B eligible individuals by the end of this month, if the supply of vaccines arrives according to the allocations and schedule. Beyond phases 1A and 1B, the next phase has not yet been announced, they are still working on phase 1C eligibility.

Never heard of an air powered costume-- As you pointed out, it is so impossibly stupid as to be incomprehensible that somebody could think that was a good idea- and in a hospital setting no less. OMG---

It's going to be extremely hard maintaining Satire on sites like "The Onion," when reality has hospital workers being allowed to go into Emergency Rooms wearing "Air-Powered Costumes."

Don’t understand this comment. Please elucidate so all participants on this thread can comprehend.

For those new to threads and "codes", 420 is a signal of marijuana. ... chilllll.. etc. A police code for such, and is celebrated in the US on 4/20 due to such

I'll be TOS if say more... moving on. We've discussed in many threads so is an understood short statement at WS for such... Google 4/20 or 420 and you'll see.

@SoCalDavidS or @margarita25 if you want to correct

THIS statement is just so underestimated:

WE'VE HAD POOR MESSAGING SINCE DAY ONE, and we can't go back and correct it n0w.

Down down deep... I really have a tiny ounce of hope that so many people who deny the numbers (but support officials/people who lie about them) the virus (and support the officials/people that say it was planned and fake), the vaccines (and support the officials/people that spread false DNA info), the election (and support officials/people that have 0 0 0 Facts to support), and hydrachloroquine, and bleach, and hate....

Eventually people really really have to think for themselves.
Truth must come back into the vocabulary if we are ever going to survive ....

"The proliferation of misinformation on social media platforms is faster than the spread of Corona Virus Diseases (COVID-19) and it can generate hefty deleterious consequences on health amid a disaster like COVID-19. "

"Additionally, the previous authors also defined mal-information; which is authentic private information shared with the public to cause harm by creating hate speech and harassment. Further, in a more specific manner, Chou et al. [13] defined health misinformation as “health-related claims of fact that is currently false due to a lack of scientific evidence”.

Ha! Video in last hour, Dr. Campbell talks about what to wear for a vaccination and shows off his muscles in a t-shirt for today's video. hahahaha

32 minutes... and he's saying pretty pathetic as to movement of vaccinations in the US and overviews the live tracker etc. And France has only vaccinated 352 people (not thousand... but 352). 10.5% of Israel has been vaccinated and are leading the pack as he works his way around the world as to figures.

ETA oopsie... here is correct link

ETA: There is going to be a joint YouTube tomorrow with Dr. Campbell and Dr. Seheult tomorrow (live??? don't know)... still no information on when it will be. I'll post, or someone else can when we learn before or when it happens.

Weird.... I thought we DID have a time for it.... I can't find it either....

Weird.... I thought we DID have a time for it.... I can't find it either....

I follow both with "sound alerts" when they post on YouTube, and neither have said when it would be to my knowledge.

Again, I'll try to be on top of it when happens, especially if live (although the tease did NOT say it would be live, so I doubt it)

Due to that UK is ahead of us.. and is prerecorded (my guess) .. who knows when released. Dr. C (UK) is 8 hours ahead of Dr. S (California)... so my guess is morning or afternoon US California time vs. when US is asleep and Dr. C often releases his YouTubes????

31,000 cases for Florida New Years Day and Saturday. Records show massive amount of new Year's Eve parties in Florida, so prob will be another surge over Christmas surge projected. Arbitrary call for "all over 65" to line up for vaccines = chaos. Cases up 25%.

Just Florida in a nutshell, for Sunday...

Florida reports 2-day increase of 31,518 COVID-19 cases

Florida's decision to vaccinate seniors first causes distribution 'chaos'

New Year’s Eve parties crowded Tampa Bay on same day Florida broke coronavirus record

COVID-19 cases surge 26.4% in Florida

N.C. reports nearly 10,000 new COVID-19 cases on consecutive days to start the new year

@north Carolina is reporting record-breaking numbers with nearly 10,000 new coronavirus cases on consecutive days to start the new year.

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services reported the new records for COVID-19 key metrics for Jan. 1 and Jan. 2, 2021.”

City of Charlotte ends year with over 4,000 reported COVID-19 violations, other businesses look forward to 2021

“This database from the City of Charlotte shows 4,357 COVID-19 violations that Charlotte Mecklenburg Police have responded to from the beginning of March to December 31, 2020.

Five violations were reported on the last day of the year.

Two of those include the Beatties Ford Road location of the United House of Prayer for All People.”

Yep. No surprise there.

Hi all.. sorry I’m jumping in to the convo. I searched ivermectin to see if this group I’m linking was referenced and I didn’t see anything although I did see info on ivermectin. They are calling themselves FLCCC. Sharing and will begin following this thread.

The FLCCC Physicians
The Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance was created by highly published critical care specialists from major academic medical centers with collectively over 1,000 medical publications. Based on the rapidly emerging research into COVID-19, the early clinical experience in China reflected by the Shanghai expert commission, and their decades-long clinical and research experiences in severe infectious diseases around the country, the 5 experts developed the MATH+ Hospital Treatment Protocol for Covid-19. It is intended for use early in the hospitalization of patients presenting with states of respiratory distress requiring supplemental oxygen. These 5 have since been joined by an increasing number of hospitalist and ICU physicians who recognize the sound physiologic rationale, the emerging published research in support of the components, and the data demonstrating good clinical outcomes in hospitals that have adopted the treatment regimen.
