Hi all.. sorry I’m jumping in to the convo. I searched ivermectin to see if this group I’m linking was referenced and I didn’t see anything although I did see info on ivermectin. They are calling themselves FLCCC. Sharing and will begin following this thread.

The FLCCC Physicians
The Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance was created by highly published critical care specialists from major academic medical centers with collectively over 1,000 medical publications. Based on the rapidly emerging research into COVID-19, the early clinical experience in China reflected by the Shanghai expert commission, and their decades-long clinical and research experiences in severe infectious diseases around the country, the 5 experts developed the MATH+ Hospital Treatment Protocol for Covid-19. It is intended for use early in the hospitalization of patients presenting with states of respiratory distress requiring supplemental oxygen. These 5 have since been joined by an increasing number of hospitalist and ICU physicians who recognize the sound physiologic rationale, the emerging published research in support of the components, and the data demonstrating good clinical outcomes in hospitals that have adopted the treatment regimen.

FLCCC Alliance peer-reviewed paper published in the Journal of Intensive Care Medicine. This protocol potentially offers a life-saving approach to the management of hospitalized COVID-19 patients. The MATH+ protocol offers an inexpensive combination of medicines with well-known safety profiles based on strong physiologic rationale and an increasing clinical evidence base.

Of course all should see their own doctor for any recommendations for therapy. I and other here have followed this site for MATH and management for many many months, and support as Dr. Campbell and Dr. Seheult which we post about often. This isn't posted often on threads, yet has been updated and they may be taking out of public view soon.

FYI the site I've followed references the site above also (which is easier to read.. you decide)

I anticipate Dr. C and Dr. S will be discussing Ivermectin in their joint YouTube tomorrow as is the #1 question folks are asking them to address ahead of time.

There is no silver bullet at this time.. just baby steps MOO

In fact, I believe there are some, albeit a small percentage, who can’t be paid to take the vaccine and would howl even louder that it surely IS a conspiracy if we tried to pay them.

I agree with this 'almost' 100% . . . I'm not so sure it will be a "small" percentage.

Not good

Medics are starting to see “whole wards of children” suffering from Covid for the first time during the pandemic, a senior nurse has warned.

Laura Duffell, a matron at King’s College Hospital, London, said the new strain of Covid was affecting children and younger adults with no underlying health conditions in worrying numbers.

Dr. Seheult @shadowdancer has a new 39 minute video out today.

If You Get COVID 19: Optimize Immune System (Vitamin D, Monoclonal Antibodies, NAC, Quercetin etc.)
Professor Roger Seheult, MD gives practical strategies if you test positive for COVID-19 (or are in contact with someone who tests positive) including: - Use of a pulse oximeter at home to monitor oxygen saturation - Who qualifies for monoclonal antibodies (bamlanivimab, casirivimab, and imdevimab from Lily and Regeneron)? - Vitamins that may boost immune function: Vitamin D, NAC, Vitamin C, Quercetin, Zinc - The importance of adequate sleep (Melatonin discussed) - Core body temperature elevation (the data on hydrotherapy and sauna use) - Isolation strategies at home: ventilation, HEPA filtration, mask-wearing

Thanks so much for this.

My pulse oximeter and supplements have arrived. I found the information about sleep and temperature elevation especially interesting!

I received a telephone call from the NHS track and trace service today. They primarily wanted to check that I was staying at home for my mandatory self isolation period, but they were also very kind and asked about how I was doing and what my symptoms were. I was really impressed.

Sounds, to me, that the virus has adapted to find itself more hosts to be virulent in. Younger hosts.

Glad you saw. Many many many do not understand that fever is GOOD!!!! and why you have such fever as it's the immune system working, and shouldn't be prevented and actually can activate the immune system.

In the future, I really really really hope there is an education campaign for such. (fever = good .. until too high).

I'm a believer in such, yet how do we differ from "bad" fevers. Dang.. such an opportunity for education for folks that want to learn.

Again, see doc if needed with info..although we may be the worst patients with such knowledge?

COVID-19 and acute pancreatitis: examining the causality
17 November 2020

Case reports and retrospective cohort studies have reported an association between acute pancreatitis and COVID-19. As SARS-CoV-2 (the causative agent of COVID-19) receptors are expressed in the pancreas and endothelial damage can occur, this association is plausible. However, this hypothesis has many biases and needs further investigation.

But then....

“the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RSPH) said they were not seeing any ‘significant pressure’ from coronavirus on children’s wards.”

How are you feeling?

Thank you.

I am really tired all the time, at night I am sleeping for as much as 12 hours. I am trying to keep busy around the house, but I need to sit down regularly for a rest as I feel out of breath easily.

I have a bad cough and my chest feels similar to what it did when I previously had a chest infection. My temperature is high, but I don't feel like I am burning up.

I haven't lost my taste or sense of smell at all though!

I am in self-isolation until 9th January, although I have been told that I will have to stay in isolation longer if my temperature hasn't gone down, as this could mean that I am still contagious.

Thank you Dixiegirl. I will take a look. I am sorry I hadn't followed the thread or seen the posts. Wasn't sure what to search to see if I was posting duplicate info. I will be following now.

So, in Australia ..... we have increasing cases in NSW - hence the mandatory mask rule now in NSW - and lesser increasing cases in Victoria. NSW is at about 180 total cases. Victoria at 21 cases now.

One of the biggest concerns in NSW is that they have found that two covid positive people worked at a busy liquor store all through the Christmas/New Years period - 9 days in all. Thousands of people have been told to isolate. They fear it could be a super spreader.

This map shows how all of the Aussie states restrict travel when an outbreak occurs.

It seems that that they cannot or do not want to and will use that as an excuse to not want to. I do not understand it.

IMO, IMO, do we know how many workers who are rejecting the vaccine have already had and been cleared of he virus? they do work with or in the shadow of this virus every day, so they probably have to learn to ignore or downplay any fears they might have just to be able to function on a daily basis as well, IMO.

Has the mask mandate come in after the liquor store situation S.A.? I'm guessing so. Hope all will be well.

Thanks.
Yes, I think so. Although Gladys has been messing about with the mask thing for a week or so. Asking people to wear them, and now telling people to wear them. Which is why other states stopped or restricted the travel from NSW to their states. Some of us felt she was being a bit slow with the restrictions. Though I think she was trying to let her state's people have a little bit of a Christmas and New Year - maybe to their detriment.

You guys deserve sooo much credit for your unified response as a nation and actively implementing the measures known to help control this virus.

Jan 3rd release

See new cases on graph at :18, almost 300G.

Much to be worried about. Positivity rate is climbing also.

Deaths too will climb.
