They are saying on our morning TV that doctors now know what to look for with regards to the very rare blood clots following vaccination. They have successful treatments, and they don't consider this to be a real danger anymore.

Source: Ch7 TV morning news

.... guidance for doctors not to use the blood thinner heparin to treat rare blood clots and low blood platelets in people who got AstraZeneca's or Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 shots.

"management should be initiated with non-heparin anticoagulation upon suspicion" of vaccine-linked clotting and low platelets.

Alternative anti-coagulants include fondaparinux or argatroban.

Looks like Norwegian Cruise Lines plans to "go to the mattresses" with the Florida "governor." I hope they stand strong!

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings announced Monday that it plans to resume cruising from Miami in August with fully vaccinated passengers, a plan that threatens to defy orders of Gov. Ron DeSantis and creates yet more uncertainty about one of South Florida’s most important tourist draws.

The cruise line’s announcement offered no indication that DeSantis has agreed to exempt cruise lines from his edict banning businesses from requiring vaccines, nor did it suggest that any sort of compromise had been reached between Norwegian and the governor.

Instead, it creates confusion about plans of cruise lines that in recent days have announced diverging strategies for resuming operations — with some planning test voyages, some requiring vaccines and some welcoming people on board with masks and social distancing.

Royal Caribbean reverses, won’t require passengers on U.S. cruises to be vaccinated

The about-face is an apparent submission to Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has insisted that there will be no exception made for cruise companies to a newly passed Florida law that fines companies $5,000 each time they ask a patron to provide proof of vaccination. Royal Caribbean International’s sister brand Celebrity Cruises (both owned by Royal Caribbean Group) is still requiring all passengers 16 years old or older be vaccinated on its seven-night Caribbean cruises that are restarting from Port Everglades on June 26.

I'm sure when people start getting sick on these "No Vaccination Required" cruises, the Governor Will NOT get the blame.

Dr. Fauci probably will. That's how it works here in America.

Employees protest against Houston hospital's policy that all staff must be vaccinated against Covid-19 — CNN

“Employees had to get the Covid-19 vaccine by June 7, according to Houston Methodist.

More than 100 staffers at Houston Methodist filed a lawsuit on May 28 against the health care system over its Covid-19 vaccine policy, saying the vaccines are "unapproved" and "experimental." The plaintiffs are asking for a temporary injunction against the policy.”

Those employees who dont want to get vaccinated should consider
other employment like flipping burgers at white castle

The Delta variant is definitely in the US.

U.S. health officials are scrambling to get more Americans vaccinated to keep the Covid variant Delta, first identified in India, from proliferating across the country.

The Delta variant accounts for 60% of new cases in the U.K. In the U.S., it is more than 6% of cases scientists have been able to sequence, but the actual number is likely higher.

By the time the suit gets to the courts both Pfizer and Moderna will likely be fully approved. They have both filed for full approval.
And they have already both been approved for emergency use (as we all know), so they are not unapproved.

Plenty of jobs that don’t require vaccination so they can find other employment with very little difficulty. Lots of other hospitals.
(LE doesn’t require vaccination which surprises me)

You would probably be surprised then, about the % of law enforcement and firefighters that will not get vaccinated. Theirs were part of the earliest groups allowed access to the vaccines, yet their rates have remained low. Here is one of many articles which discuss this. You can google law enforcement vaccination rate to see all the ugly details.

Here in my area, masks are now optional everywhere except medical offices, public transportation and schools. Also some businesses (convenience stores etc) that are corporate run, are being led by corporate decisions so masks are still required. Yesterday they began allowing no masks on school buses. I am very afraid it’s way too soon for this. Deaths were up again yesterday after holding steady for a week or so.
I’ve also noticed that I’m down quite a few friends since this time last year. When we were all locked down, my friends were happy to do multi-people phone calls to laugh and catch up. Once the lockdown lifted last summer, many friends were no longer interested in phone calls only. I feel kind of left in the dust. They are out at restaurants and parties and I’m still being as safe as I can be by limiting it. I’ve grown to love home though so I’m sad but not destroyed. Politics played a much bigger role in this than I think we yet realize. I think the separation will be difficult to overcome in my circle.

I think these days it is "do your own thing"--- masks are mostly optional. My husband has decided he doesn't need a mask anymore when we go to the grocery store or to Home Depot, etc. I did take my mask off the other day at the grocery store and it felt kinda okay- but it makes me nervous-- I think there should be an upside to getting the vaccine--- so those of us who are fully vaccinated should be able to have confidence that it works (not 100 percent but pretty darn well)-- Still not going to restaurants though my husband did go to a restaurant with his son last Sunday. Like you, I have grown to love home (probably too much)--- I am close to being a recluse!!
