Coronavirus Global Health Emergency, 2019-nCoV #2

I've been away for a while and have not read this thread. DH and I returned from a Caribbean cruise yesterday. After deplaning at DTW and making our way to baggage claim, there was a final boarding call for two Delta flights to Shanghai and Beijing, China. These were to be the last flights from Detroit to China because as of today, Delta has suspended all flights to China. There will be one arrival today from Shanghai, but there will be no more outgoing and/or incoming flights to/from China.

Many cruise lines offer Asian voyages that include several Chinese ports. Many of these sailings are being rerouted when possible or canceled, and special precautions are being taken to keep cruise passengers well. Here is the specific protocol for Princess Cruises, and I'm sure other lines have similar guideline in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak.

I only tune into Super Bowl at half time. I might take a peek just to see when the crowd is panned if there are clusters of empty seats, masks, things of that nature. Have fun all of you who enjoy and celebrate.

I'm only watching because my son will be visiting tonight. I don't even know who is playing!

Would be a great opportunity for a PSA to play during commercial break - just a non-scary, general reminder to wash hands and cover coughs during the flu and virus season (well, all the time).

Stockpiling for Armageddon, ok then... you can talk to them about the Vallow case tonight at the Superbowl party and ask about preppers etc and if they followed Chad

Ok before we get mod-whipped for O/T, let me bring the discussion back around - I did see on a YT video last night that the quarantined persons will be allowed to watch the Super Bowl. I can’t tell you for the life of me which country, since I’ve posted about about infinite countries and their responses, maybe it’s the Americans.

Some may also hopefully get to enjoy the Puppy Bowl to help lift their spirits.
