What makes this (CV) more terrifying is that it’s now known to be airborne. It’s known to survive both heat and cold. It has a higher Ro rate. Et cetera. It’s Unknown. Just like early HIV/AIDS of the 80’s...Eyes are a mucus membrane, same as nose and mouth, as a potential opening for virus to enter body.
This is a far more serious virus than AIDS, as there doesn't have to be any exchange of actual body fluids for a person to be infected. It seems to be airborne, like measles and chickenpox. And smallpox. I read that the virus was much larger than the chickenpox virus, so the droplets don't spread as far. But, who really knows?
Are the people infected also breaking out with a rash?
with HIV, we know that it is communicable via blood, semen, vaginally/anally and breastmilk. It cannot be shared via sweat, saliva, urine, breathing. The other thing with HIV is that we know how to protect against (safe sex/clean needles). We also are to presume everyone can carry it and use precautions. How many here are presuming the person next to you is carrying CV?
Testing kits are OTC. And last, antiretroviral drugs work to control the virus. (*HIV)
It’s unusual to see HIV carriers go from illness to the AIDS syndrome because of readily available diagnosis and treatment.
