Could Lee Anthony face charges for obstruction of justice?

...and I always wondered how he got TL's number when at first he claimed not to know it.

There appears to be ample evidence of Lee partying with many members of Casey's party friends, and some pretty intimate, weird shots of Lee and even George; some appear to have been taken inside the Anthony's little house of horrors.
Didn't George randomly and oddly throw out in a LE interview that he, too, had only found out what Beer Pong was a few months prior to Caylee's murder? He had to point that out, because he is in photos partying with the crew, too.
This bugged me from the beginning, with all of Cindy's and Lee's feigning of innocence, cluelessness as to how to find Casey or Caylee.:furious::furious::furious:

I humbly disagree. The ME has to release the remains to the family after all investigative procedures are complete. The defense has requested that their own team review the remains and findings from ME. The holdup is because of the case, not due to the Anthony family.

Partly correct it's a little of the A's holding up Caylee's burial & it is KC's defense that are holding it up:

Funeral For Caylee Will Wait For 2nd Autopsy
Family Lawyer Says Services Will Be Held After Defense Examines Remains
POSTED: 6:23 am EST December 22, 2008

<snipped>
Funeral arrangements for Caylee Anthony have been put on hold by the Anthony family, their lawyer said.
Anthony family attorney Brad Conway said services will be held after a second autopsy is performed on Caylee’s remains.

KC signed the legal papers turning her remains over to the A's.

Report coming up right now on FOX NEWS NETWORK @ someone else having charges brought against them...not KC...another family member! After commercial right now!!!

We've never seen those pics, have we? (The ones GA referred to in his interview.)

I don't want to see them, but if they will help to put any more time on her stay at jail that would be just wonderful, They where discussed with George when he was there and no one knew. It was the interview that they where going to have Lee come down and listen to the 911 calls before they were released.

Correct me if I am wrong: when Windows is loading and you have a ton of programs that run from the get-go, a plain blue screen will come up as it processes the load of start-up programs, then move on to the Windows logo. Casey's laptop just may have had a ton of programs to load, and that is what Lee misconstrued as a blue-screen issue.
No, it does not go to the bsod on start up. If it does, something is wrong. Mine goes to the desk top while loading all my start up programs.

KC brother could be in trouble for aiding & abiting(sp). Lawyer is saying it might be just OJ & was leading LE off the correct path. Improper funds might be involved. All A's might be involved with all of this...

LE could offer him immunity....CA's involvement with the cleaning of the car. Lawyer in the report said he is confused as to why LA would come out with the statement that he did. My head is spinning again..can this get anymore confusing!!!!

What I tried to type was what FOX reported just now. Did my best not fast at typing.

Just a random thought, what if Lee's need for an attorney coinciding with finding the body is because he too threw out a bag of trash in the same area Caylee was found. Not realizing his niece was on that same property, he may have tossed things he thought could be incriminating to Casey. His fingerprints would be present then.

It would explain all the things we think we see in the Crime Scene Photos. The things we think Casey would be crazy to toss out with Caylee's body.

Cindy testified that she was behind on a few payments to the credit cards, not that they were in debt up to their eyeballs. The prosecutor surprised Cindy by informing her that George had a credit card that was hugely overspent and in collections. She was completely taken aback at finding that out.

But with regard to Lee...the Sentinel article has a link to the website, and on the website in the Thank You tab, is a .pdf file that has a check transfer from one bank into another, with J. Parker as Trustee (people say she's Mallory's mom). The amount is about $1800. Where is the accounting for the rest of the funds? This does not constitute "thousands" of donated dollars. It will be interesting to find out about that.

As for the BSOD discussion, Lee stated he was gone for 2 hours, Tony says he used Casey's phone to call Amy (whether to just look up her number or to actually use it to call) which means that Tony had the phone until it was taken by LE, but I am confused on something here....If LE picked up Casey's phone "earlier in the evening" as someone stated, and Lee didn't show up until late in the evening to pick up Casey's things, why wouldn't LE pick up Casey's things at the same time, OR why wouldn't Lee pick up Casey's phone as well as everything else?

Something doesn't work out in my head here.
Maybe because Casey hadn't been arrested yet? Seems to me, they would have needed a subpoena to look through her bag/stuff. She probably gave them permission to get the phone (with all the #s, remember? Yeah, right!) and were clueless about her belongings being there till further discussion that evening.

FOX just reported a bit onthis business about Lee being charged with aiding and abetting or obstruction of justice. Attorney speaking about this said that the A&A charges would have to mean that Lee was involved with the death and/or disposal and does not think this charge is viable. (She knows what we know, so it is just a guess on her part IMO). As for the obstruction charges, it could be as simple as the 3 remaining A's talking about the story they would tell or instructing one another NOT to say certain things. She also mentioned CA washing the clothes from the car and that it could be O of J and she could be charged as well.

She also mentioned that when Lee was conducting his own investigation, he may have given LE misleading information (purposefuly) in order to misdirect the investigators. Also, the fact that his lawyer mentioned possible charges means that SA/LE has already made Lee aware of this problem.

Just reporting from FOX.

If anything, I think that he messed up the computer and we know he threw away a key to something.

For those of you sleuthing about clues from KC to Lee during the video visit, she told him something about buying her new phone at the "mall, bottom left". We have all talked about the "bottom left" words, with all sorts of theories about it being the bottom left drawer of a dresser, etc.

Hating to quote myself, I went and re-read the TL interview and unless I missed something, he was not asked what time LA left his apartment. If someone has more info on this that would be great.
It is in both GA and LA statements. (Not searching for a link but if anyone wants to feel free, this is just recall...)

George/Lee says Lee left approximately midnight the Hopespring Drive Address, and arrived back at 2am. He waited to leave to get her things to sign his statement with LE. LE was there both when he left and when he returned, but did not accompany him. According to Cindy, everything was dumped out in the garage in front of the officer. No way to know for certain of he made any pit stops or brought everything back to Hopespring.

I will say in his statement he gave his address at work and Hopespring, NOT where he actually lives... dun dun dun.

I always assumed that Lee knew TL somehow...don't know then why he said he didn't...something about having to get the info from Amy. I'm confused, you guys saw these mysterious photos?

Lee said he knew what the blue screen was because his own computer had the same problem before. He had to of known it wasn't a virus and it could be easily fixed.

I think he put the BSOD on KC's computer after he deleted the data to make it appear as if he couldn't get on the computer. I think he was just playing dumb and creating an alibi, so to speak.

Don't forget about Heather M phones calls and emails supposedly made to Lee. She called to confirm KC was working at universal as an event planner. I think Lee made the whole thing up and gave false statements to LE.

Another good one!

Why haven't we heard anything more from or about this "Heather"???

Personally, for me, I think the visit where he tells her all the players and locations have changed from a month ago is pertinent. Based on the length of time that has passed, the only real new evidence is from her remains/the scene, and the recent S&S warrants so it would seem likely to be a development from that evidence.

Any guess as to why he did that?
