Could Lee Anthony face charges for obstruction of justice?

sounds like there's a good reason LA has an attorney. My thoughts, as of right now, it will probably come out that he helped CA clean out the car (if GA was really at work). His attorney is "spinning" when he says LA may have obstructed or aiding and abetting, "unknowingly" (my paraphrase). They all knew what KC was capable of, and after the smell of decomp, they should have had no doubt whatsoever.

This is big, IMO. I always suspected he did, in some capacity. Wonder what he did, probably computer stuff for starters but how far did he go?

Would it be considered obstruction if he lied about whom the baby's father is, if proven he knew otherwise?

LP did state many times in the past few months, after they bonded Casey out of jail and then the chloroform in the trunk and other test results were released, that Lee and the Anthony's attitude changed drastically and they circled the wagons around Casey. LP stated he believed the A's knew Caylee was deceased and were now full steam ahead in the "protect Casey" and keep up the charade that the babysitter did it.

I feel, Casey has led her family into covering up for her, knowingly or unknowingly, it will all come out in the wash(excuse the pun LOL)
I have always felt Casey has lied and has kept on lying to her family about Caylee's disappearance and death. Like George said, (paraphrsing)he did not want to believe he raised someone who could do something like that to another person (in my words, that he raised a daughter who would kill her own child)

My bold and italics-I am missing something clearly. I can see that Luka stated that Lee was being looked at for charges-OJ or accessory after the fact. Up until that point, I could see a whole lot of speculation about charges any of the Anthony family might face but nothing clear cut. I am going to assume in my mind that accessory or OJ charges might stem from him cleaning up Casey's computer-but other than that I do not see a whole lot of arrests being made....:waitasec:

On a side note, if Lee did clean up Casey's computer or ditch things associated with the case, I feel terribly, terribly sorry for him. He will have created a noose around his own neck on behalf of someone who wasn't worth it and in the end didn't deserve his efforts. He will further have put himself, his girlfriend and their unborn child in an untenable position.

It's way down in LE's interview with Lee.You can tell by the detectives questions they are not buying his story.So the laptop crashed from a virus and erased all of Casey's e-mails prior to July 15th? No,they aren't buying it.He was gone for two hours retrieving that laptop.
Also ,his statement about the cars smell..."The horrible smell that I smelled for the first time"....hinky.Who says that? I could understand something like" I've never smelled such a horrible smell before",but to state "for the first time".....just hinky
I think he was just covering for Casey,but who knows?

Before Casey was arrested on murder charges we "speculated" that she would be. We were right. We had nothing that was "clear cut" so to speak. Mainly her lying. Kinda like the rest of the A's. What we do have is their lawyers saying yeah, there may be charges coming. Now why even bring that into the picture unless there's charges coming?????

As far as feeling sorry for Lee????? I tend not to feel sorry for anyone who helps cover up the murder of a child. He knew exactly what he was doing. Imo

The only thing is...LA claimed the laptop had a blue screen...that's a virus (windows). Don't know how he'd be able to contract that on his own.

A blue screen is not a virus. It means there is either a hardware problem or a corrupt windows file. Here we call it the blue screen of death, as we are afraid the hard drive has crashed. My husband is a computer network tech and also builds computers from scratch.
Although it is not entirely impossible to do sommething to create the blue screen yourself, you would have to know a lot about computers to do it. It is not something you can just "come up with" on the spur of the moment.

Trust me a good forensics team knows the diference between a legitimate PC failure and an attempt to manually destroy data. And no you will not typically get a blue screen following an improper shut down. There is an extremely rare situation where it might occur, providing there was already some underlying hardware issue. This would be real obvious to the techs.

They know exactly when that drive was trashed. They know it occured while KC was accounted for. They know it occured while LA was "retrieving" the Laptop. He deliberately went to a place KC had known to be staying and altered or tampered with evidence before LE could retrieve it.

They have the absolute strongest obstruction case against him. Yes CA probably destroyed evidence when she washed the pants, and GA when he cleaned the trunk. But there are multiple ways of interpreting those. GA certainly knows how close to the line he can skirt before he is in obstruction teritory. This is clearly apparent from his LE interviews. LA has a big problem with that laptop.

I just went back and re- read that interview.It makes me wonder if LE already knew the e-mails and files had been erased.Lee locks himself into that period of time.
Another topic,I bet the hairs on the detectives neck stood up when Lee said ,"that smell I smelled for the first time."
He's toast.
