Not to most rational people, but I think we have established that these people were not rational. I'm always shocked at the small life insurance policies people kill for. No way to understand what goes on in the head of a sociopath.

I think the driving force is money. But I think the Hinkyness comes into play with the sovereinty etc etc.. and some other things I don't want to speculate on at the moment.

As far a high end strip clubs the Backseat was the at the very low end, off of Cervantes where Hookers have been very prominent. My husband is a deputy here and most of the patrons there were thugs and military guys new to town that didn't know any better or were looking for a place like that.

Especially if they believed it was the "perfect" crime, $25k to those folks for very little 'work' seems to be of value to them.

They DO NOT have Jurisdiction unless you give it to them...OK?
You see...all crimes are Commercial, even Murder. That is why they have a "CHARGE" and they are "CHARGING" you, which is a Commercial word and all Commercial Crimes have a monetary debt attached to them, that is why they have a Clerk outside to collect Money. What they do not have is a CLAIM...only a real Human can have that and the "State" is not Human...just a fiction.

The killers of course! I would never refer to the victims in such a way. The Billing's were obviously generous people who used their good fortune to care for very special souls. Not many people would make such a devotion to special kids in need. I have no idea if all their buisness was straight up, but at least they were generous and did good deeds with their money reguardless of how they may have earned it.

Some expressed surprise that Mr. Billings would be wealthy from such a small little car lot. It is your typical buy here pay here lot and those places make big time cash. They buy a car for $2500 wholesale and charge a $500 to $1000 down payment and $75 dollars a week payment. Believe it or not a lot of the payment plans are set up on a weekly basis. Most customers never come close to paying off the car that is financed at 20% plus interest rates and they are repoed.

They have little GPS trackers in all of them and pick them up with ease if the customers miss payments. Next day it's back on the lot and another person pays the down payment and pays for a while until they start missing payments and it is repoed again. The same car the dealer has $2000 in will make them well over $5000 when it's all said and done. It's a much higher profit margin than a high end lot.

The customers have horrible credit and usually have no bank accounts. Cash is the method of payment and these buy here pay here dealers are drowning in cash. There might be some that report it all but I seriously doubt it. I've known dealers who would have over 100k in safes at their houses because they did not want to report it all. One often joked about what a pain it was to try and spend it in small enough amounts to not draw attention from the IRS. Typically they would not spend over $10,000 as that would be reportable.

Anyone with a small amount of knowledge about the buisness would know that the owner is likely to have large amounts of cash stashed somewhere.

It's not a stretch at all that these scumbags thought they would hit the motherload if they found his safe.

I found this info last night and it puts Ronny Phillips in a different position than that of just "friend." Originally when I read the review posted by "tracker owner" I thought this person had possibly purchased the vehicle type Tracker and was so named Ronny Phillips. Now because of the wonderful, easy to digest post from P'Colaguy, I realize Ronny Phillips didn't purchase a tracker-he was a tracker/repo man. It certainly appears that they were all (Billings and Phillips) in cahoots with one another. I wonder why this review appears to be from Ronny to Ronny and hmm...he can't reach himself....

Just google operation Brownsville- I think that is what it was called- a round up of hookers and Johns- not a nice place for a walk. I was at a convience store pumping gas on my way to work about 10 years ago and I had a guy proposition me at 8 am. My husband got so mad at me for even stopping in that area. I had no choice or I would have ran out of gas there.

Hi there! You pretty much just described Lpatrick and his band of degenerates. Would it be reasonable to say that a place like that was good for conducting other kinds of unsavory business transactions? Recruitment, procurement and provision - of things not necessarily sexual in nature?

And, not meaning to be callous here, but focusing intently on motive, wouldn't a buy here, pay here operation offer the same opportunities with a slightly more "gentile" facade?
