That was an incredible story. I also figured it would partly end as it did but there were so many twists, turns and coincidences that I wasn't 100% sure.
At first I thought the wife might have shot her husband because her story was so weird. Have to say I was shocked that her adopted no good son murdered the father who gave him everything. He grew up wanting for nothing and I don't buy his BS remorse that he tried to show in his interview with Andrea Canning. There are just some bad seeds out there---they are born evil.

Early in the interview the wife/mom started speaking of her son and daughter in law in the past tense. I agree that his interview was a flop and it’s easy to see how the day trade career went in the can.

It looks like 48 Hours is featuring the same case tonight at 10. The daughter in laws sentence is a joke.

Rsbm

Andrea Canning has 6 kids. The mother in her really came out in this interview. She wasn't having it from him.

The tone of the 48 hours episode was quite different. The mom was less restrained than on Dateline. It didn't occur to me in the first show that the actual murderers moved into the house until the cops mentioned it on the second show. I wonder if they planned to have Corey meet an accidental end at some point.

Her take on his “apology” was impressively stern and so true. Had those kids got their way, this lady wouldn’t have been around to see/hear any of it.

I'll check it out. I've been watching some show FEDS on Max. I think it's originally an ID show.

I like this new Sins Of The South on oxy but the southern narration is tear jerking. I almost turned it at the mention of a “Co-Vette” in the first episode.

Anybody catching this “Missing In Missouri” about Christine Whitaker on ID? It’s very interesting and reeled me right on in. I searched for a thread on her with no luck.
Think you mean “relentless”. Just watched it on discovery plus. Soooo good!!!

Wow. Thank you. I searched twice and didn’t find this. Yes, this case is deep. I’ve watched them and it’s starting over now.
I think they meant Relentless on discovery plus. So good! Unless there are two docs on the case.

The 2020 episode tonight was an update on the Holly Bono case. I couldn’t find the current thread.

New show:
Joe Kenda
Investigation Discovery
American Detective: Colonial Parkway Murders episode Season 5, Episode 1

We thought that the show was well done-- a few minor errors, but an excellent review of the Colonial Parkway Murders. Some viewers had a bit of a hard time finding the new episode. It is Season 5 episode 1. If you search for American Detective Colonial Parkway Murders you should be able to find it.

One takeaway we are not comfortable with is that Alan Wade Wilmer Sr. is definitely responsible for all four of the Colonial Parkway Murders. That may be a working theory, but FBI Norfolk and the Virginia State Police have a lot more work to do to prove that.

Let us know what you think.

Anybody catching this “Southern Fried Lies” on Oxy tonight? I’ll reserve my criticism after seeing it but it’s starting out slow.
