Personally if I had a daughter in jail for murder 1, LE in and out of my home, a grand daughter I dearly loved murdered, and a funeral to prepare for; I would care less about teddy bears and a memorial. I would just say 'thankyou and at this holiday time, please take all future toys etc to TOYS FOR TOTS in memory of my dear baby grand daughter.
Thankyou for caring about her so much!" Is THANKYOU in any of their vocabulary of huge useless words?
IMO, things they do and deals they make for money, make the general public hate them.........selfish all of them

I do agree with you on this. Those nice stuffed animals might be the only gift some child would receive and I am sure they would appreciate it regardless of where it came from. How would they know?

I don't believe it is the Anthony's memorial or place to do that though. I am not sure how or even if that should be done, but it should not be done by them.

I agree Turbo, let some poor kids have the new stuffed toys. New to them anyway. They may not get a preset from Santa otherwise. If they did not get dirty, give away! We even have coat and clothes drives here, they just cannot afford them.

I love this idea and this is a job for the elusive spokeperson, Todd Black-come out of the dark sir and make a statement along these lines....

ITA, Passionflower. If A's attorney reads here, maybe he will follow up on your suggestion in the hopes of helping to repair his clients' sorely tarnished public image....

Thanks,
Soulscape

ITA with the A's donating the stuffed animals to needy children, and doing it hopefully in the next few days so they can get to kids in time for Xmas. This is a really bad year for nonprofits as donations are down, but they are dealing with an increased need from clients. But, the A's will be bashed for whatever they do with these.

I DO believe it is the A's place to do this. Who else would it be -- the owner of the property?

Okay lay off the toys. Here they ask for "gently used" toys, coats, clothes, just anything. If they need laundering, they get that. The children who recieve them will never know where they came from, nor the parents who must accept them to give their children a Christmas. It was a good deed.

Miracles I honestly thing the A family is angry, ashamed, of coarse hurting in their own way and just don't want constant reminders. My family is much more dysfunctional than this one (if you can believe that possible) and they would do the same danged thing. :(

They are in Caylee's home.

They live in a reminder.:blowkiss:

I'm with the rest..this would be ideal. Everytime they destroy a memorial they come off even more hateful than before....they brought us in--we saw the video---may not have known that sweet little Caylee but she was loved by strangers and they to need to grieve....we are human and compassionate and the a's make it seem intolerable that they can be the only ones.....just don't get it....its like they are missing out on screen time with the media---you know ca has to be bitting the bite....good post!!!!! :blowkiss:

I just got home and saw all this that has happened .. . and )&*()&Y(&YE###$# IT, why the ()*&%&^*(&_+_Y(Y would the Anthony's have them take down the memorial ???

I second this!

I agree that CA will be arrested soon. Can't wait to see that mugshot....maybe they will snap it right as she is doing that weird twitching thing where it looks like she is trying to shake the hair out of her eyes. (sorry, that's mean!)

I think GA will be left out of this (maybe he signed some immunity agreement when he testified for the Grand Jury? Maybe CA doesn't even know about that immunity agreement!).

I'm not sure about LA. On one hand, I see him as someone that was really trying hard to get KC to talk and figure things out in KC's backwards sort of way and that he walked away at some point because he knew she was lying. On the other hand, maybe he did some major covering up as well. I tend to lean towards him just staying out of the spotlight because he never believed KC...at all. He knows her better than anyone else in this world and that is why KC kisses up to him in her jailhouse tapes....she knows she can't pull the wool over his eyes.

As far as the memorial goes, why does this surprise any of you??? They only support "FIND CAYLEE, CAYLEE IS MISSING" type signs and tshirts. They knew Caylee was dead but they may not have known she was right around the corner. They hid behind their tshirts like it was their suit of armor. The shirts and posters kept them on the task of SHOWING THE WORLD Caylee was alive and trying to protect their hearts from the truth.

The memorials now, in their view, remind them NOT that Caylee was murdered, but that *they* look really really bad in all of this. That their entire family looks really really bad. It reminds everyone that the public knew all along and it is a slap in their face because they tried so hard to pretend it wasn't true....exactly as St. Crispian said in their post. The memorials are calling them out on their sH%$.

The point is, it's never ever about Caylee. It's always about KC or CA. Caylee was collateral damage.

I still have a problem with what NG already called "desecrating a memorial" during the first removal of the first memorial at the Anthony home a few days ago.

We don't go into cemeteries and confiscate recently placed flowers to brighten the homes of folks who cannot afford flowers and could really benefit.

It is a memorial. It is an instance where logically, you leave it be.

The Anthony family have attempted to attribute so much questionable behavior to the "grieving process" an entire urban area is wounded. There are ramifications everywhere.
Why on Earth would one then turn around and interfere with the grieving process of the public, after remains are identified.

Everyone's grieving process should be respected here.

For God's sake, let people grieve!

On the 11pm wesh Orlando news, just reporting:

"Skip Davis", a free-lance producer working for the Anthony's was interviewed at the memorial.

He stated he will be removing it, I believe tomorrow.

This cause a heated exchange between mourners and the man, Skip Davis, who said he was going to remove it, on behalf of the family.

Oh, this is rich.

As usual, the Anthonys would like to sweep it under the rug. Out of sight, out of mind is their motto.

The only purpose for removing the memorial is so that it isn't there anymore.

Saying that they are going to donate the stuff is just so that they feel better about it.

I know. I just don't think they want the public to share it. :(

The Anthony's opened their home to the public.

The Anthony's did numerous interviews inside the same home where the warrant would later be executed.

They have opened the door to the public. That is an entrance that is difficult to undo. Some question the priorities though no one is in their shoes, certainly.:blowkiss:

Unfortunately, CA's personality gets in the way of all she does. She is combative, domineering and somewhat paranoid of everyone's motives (except for KC, of course.) Thus the memorial issue COULD have been handled with grace and dignity, instead it ends up being a me against them issue. Although I feel terribly sorry for what they are going through, she is her own worst enemy. Poor GA is just along for the ride.

Note: places that take stuffed aniimals only want them wrapped or in clean plastic.

When they have a grave site for Caylee, the Anthony's can refuse anything left there as they will be the owners of the site.

It will be their decision to leave something or not.

It is very distracting to other cemetary visitors to have to navigate around huge piles of things left at an adjoining site just to be able to visit with their deceased loved ones.

I don't look for Caylee to have a gravesite, seriously! The selfish control freak that CA is I will not be surprised if the remains aren't cremated and kept at the house so that Caylee will not be shared with the rest of us. If Caylee is buried CA would not have the control over who visits Caylee's gravesite and I don't see that happening. I just don't expect to see her buried. :( I hope I am wrong

I have a couple of questions here:

1. WHAT in the WORLD do the A's need a 'freelance producer' for???

2. WHY would he feel this falls within the 'scope' of his 'duties'?

This thread should be renamed "Removing the Memorial".

Enough said.

Back in July and August, there were discussions here about why a guardian ad litem was not appointed for little Caylee. Most felt she needed someone to protect her interests, but that legally, the guardian is appointed only for a live child.

I do wish there was someone legally and morally, looking out only for Caylee. While LE and prosecutors have worked so hard to bring her justice, they are limited in what they can say and do. While there are millions of us who give her our love and wish to give her peace, dignity and justice, we aren't empowered to speak for her. I wish there was someone, her own personal guardian angel, whose motives were pure, who could legally speak and act on her behalf now.
