Really? I missed that. LE confirmed it was Caylee's book?

Fox seems to say LE has confirmed it's THE BOOK--
Ahead of the announcement, Florida police released evidence photos from the scene where the remains were found. One showed a book discovered in the woods that the child had been photographed reading before she vanished.

The pictures were among several cops publicized before the afternoon news briefing.

The book is among numerous pieces of evidence Orange County Sheriff's deputies say they found in the wooded area where Caylee's remains turned up.

Maybe it's sensationalized reporting-- I don't know...?

I think the psychic's video helps the prosecution (or at least LE) because it shows how heavy the vegetation was at that time. Much more so than when the body was found. Also it proves the area had water. I can't tell where the psychic was along Suburban drive...so I am not sure she even got out of the car at the same spot as the meter reader]

She got out of the car & began to walk down the sidewalk so where exactly did she end up when we saw her in the brush?..It's impossible to tell from this video & if she went back there now (4 months later) would she really remember exactly where it was?.

There's no doubt GSJ & Co were definitely in the general area & obviously knew it so why did they give up so easily?..Why did they not come back?..Especially since she said LE were "liars" re: searching the area..

I feel the meter reader should have a similar problem finding his same exact spot too because it looks like from right beyond that very long fence (running behind the home on the corner of the A's street) it becomes an all heavily wooded area..So did he recall from something specific?..If so, what was it?

I can't tell from the Fox report if LE actually confirmed it (the book), or if Fox is assuming it. I guess I will say for me the jury is still out on that one!

As far as the psychic...I believe her to be further up the road than the place where the body was found. But it is very difficult to tell exactly where they were from that poor quality video. It seemed very self-serving to me...like it was being prepared to be used on a tv show. Hmmmm.

The meter reader has a better shot at finding the spot because the actual body was found very close to where the wood fence ends. But I have still yet to be convinced that he spotted the actual body. I think it is possible he smelled something...or spotted something...but that it was not the same bag. I can't believe LE would show up and not look at the bag he points out. That makes no sense.

Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bukQWMaxD0Q

Her name is Gail St. John, and she has that TV show called "The Body Hunters". She was down here searching on several different occasions with a team of psychics and dogs.

That video was fascinating. I want to know if anyone saw a grey bag by the side of the road? If this meter reader saw this bag by the road on the same day, why didn't the physic see it? I heard one of the ladies say that further back in the woods there was water, but this bag was obviously close enough for the meter reader to see it. I am confused.

Caylee Anthony search (George Skene, Orlando Sentinel / September 1, 2008) Danny Ivison uses his dog in today's search for Caylee Anthony conducted by EquuSearch covering an area near the Anthony home off Suburban Way .Between 120-160 volunteers came out to help. Orange County Sheriff's lead investigator John Allen is right behind him.

wow hind sight really is 20/20. They were really looking for a needle in a haystack. To me, I know they missed Caylee, but she was found. She could have never been found. Gods hand was in this, it was just in His timing.

I think this was the point where Tim with TES declared the water was too high to be searching for fear of tearing up any remains if there were any in that area.

Hi Turbo,

After looking at this photo I'm wondering why the search dogs didn't pick up the scent of Caylee's remains.

Also, in Gayle's video it shows her dog sniffing around the road & apparently she wasn't far from where the body was dumped.

This got me to thinking about the "Chemical Sprayers" that were removed from the Anthony home.

Do you think it's possible that Casey sprayed the bag with a chemical in order to "Throw Off The Search Dogs"?

Could that be why none of the dogs picked up the scent?

I've been reading up on Cadaver dogs & from what I gather they are trained to detect certain specific chemicals that are present during decompostion.

If KC sprayed the bag with other chemicals maybe that would mask or interfere with the chemical that the dog was trying to detect.

The only chemicals that I can find that are known to interfere with search dogs are Ammonia & another chemical that is present in Diesel Exhaust. (not sure of the name)

What do you think? If George had pesticides in those sprayers could they have thrown off the dogs if KC sprayed the bag down?

I know you have dogs of your own so that's why I'm asking you

Hi

It could be that the body had been moved, I believe this to be the case, I don't think Caylee was there from June, the whole time.

But Ive been googling about cadaver dogs and whether they can miss dead bodies and apparently

YES - if the depth is too much, as in the Laci Peterson Case so if it was totally flooded past a certain depth then the dogs may not have smelt the decomposing body

And apparently animal remains and other plant emissions can throw off the scent for the cadaver dogs

This is all what I got from googling about Cadaver dogs and whether they can be put off

Did LE even take the search dogs over there? I though they only had them at the A home.

Wow - that video is amazing!!!! I'm generally not a believer in psychic stuff but she was RIGHT THERE and the driver could tell something wasn't right!!!!!!

That said, what was the guy in the backseat doing???

The guy says he's feeling really sick from being there- presumably because he's sensing something really negative or unsettling in the area??

I don't know much about psychics -- but I agree that this video is pretty powerful, knowing what we know now.

Thank you for posting the link to the video.

IMO I agree with those that think it will help the prosecution. Near the end of the video after the lady talks about the water, she and the dog turn around to walk a little further into the woods(before it cuts out)and you can see the water moving at about chest level on the dog. It does seem to be further down the road from where Caylee was found, but hopefully close enough to prove the area held high levels of water during the time LE went in to look on August 13th.

That video is quite interesting. They really do seem to be "sensing" something in that area. It would be interesting to see other videos of theirs. I wonder if they "sensed" similarly in other areas as well???

On a different note - regarding the pesticide sprayer...Is it possible that LE found evidence of something chemical that is more "recent" than the remains find? Evidence that the remains/the bag had been sprayed at a later date? Just thinking out loud regarding the rush to pick up those sprayers???

MOO

And there were many pets buried in those woods per Kio, so the scent of animals may have overwhelmed Caylees? A thought...

That is exactly what I took from that video, as well, water levels. In that video, I saw it high, with my own eyes.

This photo looks like they may have been entering the area from a different angle, not from Suburban drive, but possibly from the back yard of one of the houses along Hope Spring Dr.

The whole water in that area will not play much into trial. Baez and team can try to slam LE, but it would be futile and a waste of time. Also, you have now seen the photos with the water and ones taken at an angle without water. Moot issue, imo. The case still boils down to a deceased and tossed away child. That will be the focus, everything else is just drama.
