I'm wondering if I will need a 12 step program after the trial. Here it is, Christmas Eve and I am checking the threads. Before this, I didn't know what a thread was, unless I was putting it in my sewing machine.

Any chance the blue thing is the bathing suit in this below pic? Hope the pics work! (the pink blanket she is lying on looks similar to a pink item found in Blanchard Park in the pic on the far right - been discussed elsewhere)

We discussed the blue thing earlier in this thread. I think that it is more likely crime scene gloves left by LE. If you follow the picture from the earlier stage to the later stage of the "excavation"...you will see they are not there, then there, then not there again. I remember distinctly at least one pic where you could see them...but all of the surrounding ground was already dug up and cleared - yet the blue thing was there. It is doubtful it still would be at that point. At least in my mind.

It looks like latex blue gloves, or a deflated balloon maybe?

The blue thing may well be the bathing suit that's in the picture. It looks like it.

God, I look at that picture and I just want to cry. She was so beautiful, how could this happen?

Yes, that does look like her top. She wore that color a lot, could be any one of her little cloths.

I know she wore blue and her swimsuit in the picture was blue, but I still have a hard time believing LE would leave crucial evidence like clothes lying around the crime scene while they proceeded to dig up all the earth in the area. Certainly they would mark and remove major items like that before risking contamination of the item by digging all around it. And you can see the item there after the ground has been dug up and the grids posted, etc. I still maintain the most likely explanation is something left by LE like a pile of gloves.

Well, this takes me back to my favorite little magazine when I was a kid, HIGHLIGHTS and the best part was findings the things is the picture. "Can you spot a ___?" The blue thing on the ground is nothing of any importance or it would have been taken; at least that is how I see it. I think I see a striped fluffie and the book.

I can see the blue thing either being a bag, trash, or the bathing suit.

so is the school part of the crime scene????
Why the tents and flags there?

I am pretty sure the blue thing is debris left by LE from the investigation. I think it is 'too' blue to have been associated with Caylee. If it had been the swimsuit or something from Caylee, I think it would have been very faded and weathered looking. This area was underwater for a while, and has been out in the elements in a harsh environment for some time now. As far as the school having been part of the crime scene, I don't think so because the media would have been filming in that area. If there are blue tents on the school property (can't tell because I am using a borrowed computer that doesn't seem to be pulling up pictures very well), the tents are probably for something unrelated IMHO.

Welome!! to W/S

Thank you so much......and when you get time....could you do a few more photos ....of the crime scene....so we can see if we see anything else on the ground.....:)

Here you go

Thanks a bunch! That is exactly what I was talking about.

We have spent SOOO much time on the other photo and I am going cross-eyed looking at it.

So, I decided to closely examine some of the other photos. I think this photo is coming from a different angle than the first one, and it could very well be the same tiger.

I would love to see this pic sharpened, brightened and zoomed in on like the other one. Any takers?!?!?!

You're right, your monkey actually has "arms" rather than a strap and I *think* I see animal arms of some sort in the pic.

Hmmm....

Gosh, StArBuXeR!!! Welcome to WS's, and thank you for the photoshop picture! I just cannot see what I am seeing in THAT picture as being a fluke of pixelation quirkiness. I have looked at this "Tiger" in the first picture and then in the one with the tent, and I think it has been picked up and bagged by the time they put the tent up. I compare the picture to where the leaves in are on the trees and the edge of the "old photo" that is lying on the ground. If someone can tell me where in the picture with the tent, they see the "tiger", I would appreciate it. I am going blind!!! Once again, Welcome to WS's - to ALL of the new people reading and posting here. Best site on the net to serious, thoughtful discussion. Where is Huff by the way?? I miss his insight....

Entomologists can determine even months later if a body had been placed outside at night or during the day, if the child was killed inside or outside, if it had been moved at any point and several other very interesting scientific data facts that will surely assist in this case.

I believe that is what Baez is so afraid of in this case. They will blow his theory of a kidnapping right out of the water.
