From what I recall, Cindy was on one of her rants about how LE was investigating improperly and not doing their job when she brought up the receipts. She stated she had receipts and asked them if they wanted them and they didn't express an interest in them. She said she wasn't going to give the receipts to them then and gave them to JB instead. She was acting like a small child - "You don't want them? Fine. I will give them to Casey's attorney then. So there!"
She was trying to use them as an example of how LE didn't collect evidence properly. Just like when she said they didn't take the car right away either.

I believe I am correct on this...anybody remember differently?

she also did a similar thing with the brush...giving them the one that was mutually shared by kc & Caylee---when she had the one that was used only on Caylee..then giving the one LE wanted to defense...thinking its okay...after all......no crime to lie...???:waitasec:

Yes - that was pretty petty too. She was probably thinking "I'll show you! You want a brush used by Caylee?...here's a brush. There's a better one. One used just by her...but I'm not wasting my time getting you that one. You can just use this one. So there!"
I am trying very hard to believe it was something like that going on in her head. Rather than her hoping they would find only Casey's hair on that brush and not be able to match it to the one in the trunk.....leading them to the conclusion that it was not little Caylee's hair they had found.

Yes, I agree. Her ranting made me crazy, as her penchant for details that were, for the most part, insignifcant thruout all her interviews mudddied any pertinent information she tried to convey about finding Caylee. So much wasted energy, saying nothing.

I agree, she did not help her daughter at all, thankfully, but that incessant talking, without taking a breath, made my brain freeze.

I saw 19 ground shots of the crime scene on the orlando sentenial site.. i tried tpost the link here way earlier but the server was busy.....

I will try t find the link again now....

From the photos I saw it is amazing how CLOSE to the ROAD she was...
That astounds me also. So close....she was right behind a neighbor's fence...my God.

Is the blue tent over where the body was found or off to the side?/

I believe it was over where the remains (bag & skull at least) to keep further debris (leaves/rain) from falling on it. Also - it helps shield against photos taken from helicopters above. But I think mainly it is there to protect the site.

I have a feelings these photos are of no importance. We could use the photos to get an idea of the area, and its place in theories, but I dont think there is any evidence in any of them. Just starting with the first photo, then photos Dec. 13, almost 2 days after the discovery, there are 1085 photos. The ones close up to the scene, are mainly from the 13.JMO.

The first photos were made on Dec. 11 just a little over 2 hours after the MR made the call to report what he found. Before any evidence had been moved or taken into custody. What we're seeing in the first photos are basically what LE saw shortly after they arrived on the scene. The exif data can be found in the 1st thread....post #219.

I agree Shar824. I think it was LE intention to provide only photos that would give us a sense of the area and the crime scene - without getting into specific evidence that was found. That is why I do not believe the body or the bag can be seen in any of these photos. They have photos of those obviously...but they were careful not to release those. I do not think they thought we would be analyzing the heck out of them and spot some potential evidence like photos, books or toys. I think they wanted to avoid that but I think some got out anyway. JMO.

What a perfect phrase for Cindy.
:)

Thank you TxRose!

Cindy came on so strong, butting heads with literally everyone that let her speak, & in doing so revealed volumes about herself & her daughter. (Loose Lips Sink Ships) She was like some Mighty Morphin PowerMother against the world, & seemed to me, that her purpose was, in many ways, self-ingratiating! It left a bad taste in people's mouths:waitasec: I felt deeply for her in that one 911 call, her purpose only to find her beloved grandaughter! and then she morphed into archdefender of her lying, scheming daughter, perpetuating this crime furthermore!:furious:

"There are none so blind as those who will not see" My problem with her is she did see & then Chose to convince people to put on blinders to this heinous act.

Everything you have said is correct (and funny...Mighty Morphin PowerMother indeed! LOL) I think Cindy has always been more concerned with image than the truth. She couldn't stand the thought that her daughter was pregnant and single...so she chose to say she wasn't. She couldn't stand that her daughter might be a liar and a thief...so she did nothing about it. She now is faced with the ultimate in humiliation...that HER daughter murdered her granddaughter. That will really paint them as a dysfunctional family. She will fight that "perception" to the bitter end.

Wasn't it the JCP statement that was sought rather than a single receipt? She did give the receipts to JB. Can't LE subpoena JCP for their copy? Have they done that?

I don't recall Hercule but you might be right about the statement. I just remember her talking about the receipts. I am quite sure LE was able to get their hands on everything they needed from JCP. In one of the document dumps they had copies of receipts...I don't remember if these were in there or if they were just the ones from Target.

I thought this was pretty interesting too they were that close.Thank you for the links. But it was the lady that got out with the dog who said I feel something here? The blonder haired lady right? What was her name?

Just wanted to say great job on the pictures! It makes it a lot easier to understand the location and theories as to how the body was so easily missed.

I had posted these over on the thread about the poll regarding whether or not the meter reader saw the actual bag in August that was found in December. We have all been assuming that the bag was black. That might not be the case. In the following photographs, you can see a white bag-like object in the brush early in the investigation, and then one that is being removed. I would hope the large bag being removed would not have been the actual "bag" because they should have placed it in another evidence bag..... with this case, however, anything is possible.

I mentioned in another thread that that pink item looked like a pink beanbag chair that Caylee had. I wonder if that white bag is the bag and the pink item is the cover?

Why would she discard an entire bean bag chair? Strange..... this whole case is driving me nuts!

I am sorry, but I don't see a white bag in those photos. I see little white flowers on the tips of those weeds. If it were the bag - it would be almost waist-high with the police officer from what I can tell....which would be odd. The other bags are evidence bags they used to remove evidence if I am not mistaken.

I wonder if that white bag/object in the picture is the white, round object that RK reported seeing in one of his earlier calls to LE? He said he saw something round and white and it looked out of place where it was.
