Looks like a different book to me. Obv it MIGHT be caylee's book, but I just don't see enough convincing pictures.

i do think that the safer bet is that it's a picture or book from the nearby elementary school.

I lightened it up to see if we could get a name on it and other details.

It clearly looks like a skull and hair to me. I magnified it.
I can't imagine them accidentally releasing the skull
and book photo, though.
The time it was taken was definitely before the body
was removed. If we can tie the vegetation with
pictures under the tent, then we know it's what it
really is.
^i^

look to the left of what someone identified as the skull. then magnify slowly, that looks like the skull with hair and 2 eye sockets plus the other one is to white, i think it would have faded. sorry to be so morbid.

Do you know what those flags are for, by chance? Does each one mark a place where evidence was seized-- or do they just cordon off a general area??

I dont see where anyone can see a book in these pics... IMO... the pink flags are every where a bone was found...

CSI investigators organise evidence in this way... everywhere an item was picked up a different flag is placed.... the color means the contents......

I thought on the first reports of the remains that it was stated that the MR kicked the bag and a skull road out...not that he picked up the bag. I'm I wrong??

Flags mark evidence, weather it is remains, a small piece of cloth, something out of place, a footprint, etc.

IMO....the stakes and sting are the perimeter.... the flags mean evidence was picked up there.... i think pink is bone.... seen many pink flags today in different pics.... the other colors mean different things.. i think the main blue tarp is where the origional skull/bag was found and LE worked outwards from there in a circular/grid style pattern......

Thank you! I was wondering if searchers might know what colors stand for what for OCSO-- I've seen variations in stuff I've read/looked at?

Thank you! Is pink always bone?? is that like a general rule? Sorry, I don't know this stuff!

The minute I post this, I am also going to refresh, and alert on it myself, because this is SOOOO worthy of a saved up, earned Time Out.

A lot of members that I normally appreciate, respect and laugh with on a daily basis have posted here on this thread --> hope to see you again on the other side of this TO.

Sincere Nicey-Nice/Mod crap aside...

I am no Angel, and probably annoy a lot of you, but, no matter how 'witty' or 'snarky' I'd ever post any response or opinion, I just don't 'get' how this thread has spiraled way the heck out of control to denigrate the photos of Caylee's likely last resting place for the past 1/2 year.

I can't speak for others here, but I'll put this 'rumour' out there that I don't think any WS'er whose been along for this whole heart-wrenching ride would ever, ever disrespect you individually in the way that you've disrespected Caylee on this thread tonight.

Just toss me the heck on your ignore lists, because if this thread demonstrates and qualifies as fulfilling your personal definition of 'sleuthing' for Justice for a little, tiny Baby, then have the hell at it.

Mock the players, the posters, the peripherals, but CAYLEE doesn't deserve this level of BS.

MOO - with a twist - MOOAY'AF'D

I agree with you My Dear Spud and thank you for so eloquently saying what I was thinking. And it has nothing to do with not being able to handle "crime scene photos". :blowkiss:

Hi, I understand that it's "IMO", but repeating opinions as facts gets kind of annoying. This is what I found out from looking online at flag meanings (mostly from stores selling this stuff)

Orange - biohazard
yellow - do not cross, evidence, police, sherrif
pink - for photographic use

I'm sure they vary from crime scene to crime scene.

I do not know if that is the general rule (pink flags = bone)... just from my observation from the crime scene photos released today by LE there seems to be many pink flags compared to other colors.... an we all know alot of bone has been recovered over many days..... JMO

I DO KNOW... every where there is a flag.. a piece of evidence was uncovered at that spot.....the evidence is organized by the colors of the flags....

I dont know for sure... I havent read in a book.. but I am sure every crime scene has a orginization about it....
I don't think that the "colors" we read about in books represents what CSI investigators do in theor everyday jobs....

topics here should be here for what we observe or see.... not what we assume............i see alot of assumptions here... sorry for that statement but i do.......

Here's some screen captures I did of the YouTube video with Caylee and her book, "Suppertime for Frieda Fuzzypaws." The only page that she doesn't open that I could get a screen capture of was the very first page. So if somebody has the book or can get it from the library to scan that page, that might help us determine if the yellow rectangular object in the crime scene photo is the book or perhaps another book or something else.

Bear with me as this is the 1st time Ive tried posting a picture...also I only have paint to work with on this computer.

I'm not trying to say you're wrong, and obviously I don't know for sure either.

You have the right to your own assumptions, it just sounded like a fact (ala pedilla, if you know what I mean.)

the rsxtaci.com/Caylee address will remain active and you guys can download as much as you want and link wherever you want.

i have unlimited bandwidth so i don't mind one bit! :) happy clicking WSers.

Thanks. How sad to see all the orange buckets of dirt they have to sift thru for bones. Maybe KC should have to help. Just tragic. :furious:

They found a lot more bones today.............I wonder.........remember when CA made that sobering statement "oh no, not another one"?

I know when Cindy made that statement, it was live by the garage of her home. Soon as she said it a reporter asked what she meant & she said about Lee being followed or chased by reporters, being afraid of car accident. I didnt believe her, it sounded like she thought of something real quick when she realized what she said. Couple that with Lee, in a jail visit or call asking KC if it was like the "last" time & she said yes. I never could figure that one out. Could it be there was a new born buried there before this????
