Mystery Woman With Amnesia Found in Krk, Croatia, recognized by couples in Los Angeles - J99news
“We watched her nervously go up and down, and when she saw us, she started shouting and waving,” the man told Sata24. “We approached the coast to see what was going on. She was covered in a white sheet, but she may have found a tarp or something and tried to keep warm with it. ”

''A Croatian police officer told The Daily Beast that earlier in the week they suspected the woman might be Eastern European based on the clothes she was wearing, but she spoke English with a “queen’s English” accent.

Although the question of the woman’s identity may have been answered, officials still do not know why or how she ended up in Krk – or how she survived in an area teeming with predators.

She was severely dehydrated and emaciated and had bloody crusts from deep scratches on her face, but she did not have cuts on her feet as one would expect on someone coming to the island over the rocky shoreline.''

cuts and bruises on torso look minimal from the photo. clothing doesn't look ripped/torn or like its been wet and dried. thats just my first thoughts

does anyone else think the trainers she's wearing look oversized? a males shoes possibly?

She could have some foot issues like bunions, corns or hammertoes and finds a larger shoe size, as long as it laces up, is much more comfortable. My grandmother did that. She'd take a razor blade and cut an 'X' in her slippers to relieve pressure on her bunions.

Glad she seems to have been ID'd!

I think it's related to one of the main stream media posts up the page a bit where she told a Kiosk worker that she was worried about having to go into Quarantine.

Seems to me since it was in a main stream media story, it is allowed to be discussed, ie as in Websleuth rules.

Yes, but I don't see why she would bash her head against rocks, fake amnesia, and get rid of all her money and ID to get the chance to maybe not quarantine. It doesn't make sense to me. Turning off your phone and removing your SIM card is a far cry from injuring yourself with a jagged rock and faking severe memory loss.

I never said it couldn't be discussed, I was just curious as to this line of thinking.

I think that someone stole her ID and any money she had in her wallet, or purse, and maybe roughed her up a bit.

I can't explain the no cuts on her feet. From the pic of her sitting down, her leggings are three quarter length, but her legs don't look scratched up.

Maybe the loss of memory was trauma from being mugged.

The final result of this was her telling police and everyone else that she did know who she was but did not want to disclose it, as was her right.

From memory, she never did tell the police who she was, but did disclose to someone, maybe a Dr in strict confidence.
Medical staff were satisfied that she did know who she was and that no more information on her would be released, at her request.

The really strange thing is that nobody came forward who said they knew her. No family, neighbours, friends, medical staff, shop workers etc.

So was this whole amnesia thing a scam to get into the country and avoid the 14 day quarantine?

Sadly, I guess you're correct. But, I don't think I've ever seen comparison photos look so much alike... shape of the nostrils, the eyelids. (It's also possible I need an eye exam ;))

I thought she was a dead ringer for the woman in the Santa hat, albeit about 10 years younger at least.

From the latest info re two people coming forward who knew her and her links to a group that helps the homeless, it's looking like it is the same person, 7 or so years later..

Regarding her age, I think she is younger too but not by much. I also looked at her eyebrows (being near 60 myself) and whether she purposely raised them or if she has had botox. Odd observation just throwing it out there. Has anyone heard of any recent missing person's reports as she doesn't look like she's been malnourished and she's not overtly sunburned.

If she was severely dehydrated her muscles could be tense and spasmodic, maybe why her eyebrows look like that.

Well this idea might be full of hot air, but...
considering the area is barely accessible either by land or water, could it be possible the uid woman arrived in a hot air balloon?
imo, speculation.
Balon klub Zagreb
''Ballooning in Croatia?
Looking for an unique way to experience Croatia? Hop in!''

I've been thinking about air transport also, as both land and sea have problems.

falling out ballooning accidents do happen. trouble is it seems unusual to survive such a thing. i have only find one man who did so far, but bystanders held out a sheet of something (maybe another balloon?) for him to land on.

I'm really confused. Someone posted a photo of this woman on a FB missing persons page but there's no identifying information... like her name or location or age or ?? Did they just post a photo saying "this unknown person is missing"? (I don't understand... what am I missing? This is embarrassing! :oops:o_O)
It's a missing/locate page. The story of the lady found in Croatia was posted to the page and somebody posted the photo of the woman in the Christmas hat in the comments. I think they used a website to look for comparison photos on the internet and so there is still no name of who she is.

She has been identified as Daniela Adamcova. Tons of MSM articles popping up about it. She was a jewelry designer and does appear to be the woman in the Christmas party photos.

Thank you for explaining AND sharing the photo! Really interesting.

That's ok. :) I'm just glad she's finally been identified. Reading the articles posted above she sounds like an interesting lady....I just still wonder how on earth she ended up there?! o_O

Mystery Amnesia Woman in Croatia Was Once Described as a Hollywood Jeweler to the Stars
“She told us about how she travels and that she is retired and her friends are still working,” the tourists said according to TN.CZ. “She went on the trip alone. And because she feared a 14-day quarantine after arriving back in Slovakia, she turned off her phone and discarded her SIM card. We talked about vaccinations, that the lady did not want one and was afraid that she would have to quarantine when she returned, which she also did not want.”

So... she faked her memory loss? That's what I gathered from that quote.
